In the Arizona Cardinals’ 29-23 overtime win over the Las Vegas Raiders, it was cornerback Byron Murphy who picked up a Hunter Renfrow fumble and returned it 59 yards for a touchdown.

In a simulation of the Cardinals’ Week 3 matchup at home against the Los Angeles Rams on Madden NFL 23, Murphy comes up clutch again.

With under two minutes remaining in the game and the score tied 13-13, Murphy picks off a Matthew Stafford pass and returns it to the five-yard line. James Conner scores on the next play to give the Cardinals a 20-13 lead and win

Sean McVay was pleased with the way the Rams played on Sunday, beating the Cardinals on the road, 20-12. It wasn’t the cleanest or prettiest win, with the offense getting outgained 364-339, but as McVay said last week, “a win is a win is a win.”

He addressed the team following Sunday’s victory over Arizona, telling them to “never take for granted a divisional win.”

The Los Angeles Rams enter their Week 3 matchup on the road against the Arizona Cardinals will a number of injuries in the secondary. Already down three of their top four cornerbacks, safety Jordan Fuller was also questionable for the game with a hamstring injury. He will not play and is among the Rams’ inactives for Week 3.

With Troy Hill on injured reserve and both Long and Durant inactive, Robert Rochell will start at cornerback for the Rams opposite Jalen Ramsey.
