Bills QB Josh Allen just went into the X-ray room after the game.
Bodies dropping for the #Bills due to the heat. Gabe Davis drops a touchdown. Bills settle for a field goal as the #Dolphins defense holds it down in the red zone. Bills 17, Dolphins 14 with 3:40 left in the third quarter.
Buffalo's projected starting secondary today in Miami: ðŸˆCB Kaiir Elam - rookie 1st-round pick ðŸˆCB Christian Benford - rookie 6th-round pick ðŸˆS Damar Hamlin - 2021 6th-round pick ðŸˆJaquan Johnson - 2019 6th-round pick This group has made three NFL starts entering today.
Most receiving yards so far this season: 1. Tyreek Hill: 284 2. Stefon Diggs: 270 3. Jaylen Waddle: 240 Today's Bills-Dolphins game marks the first game since Chargers-Chiefs on November 16th, 1980 when the NFL's 3 receiving leaders all played in the same game.
Bills WR Isaiah McKenzie and TE Dawson Knox are back in the game. Dolphins CB Xavien Howard, who went to locker room with cramping, is also back in. twitter.com/CameronWolfe/s…
Jordan Poyer just walked on the field for pregame #BillsMafia @WKBW pic.twitter.com/UdKrlhoXIY
The ball flight on that Tyler Bass missed FG sure was something -- looked more like a spiral than a kick
Complete to James Cook. Second and 1 from the Miami 6-yard line coming up.
Devin Singletary up to 9 catches for 78 yards after the last one goes for 22 on 3rd down. He also has one of Allen's touchdowns.
Isaiah McKenzie couldn't get out of bounds! The Bills can't get the spike in time and fall to the Dolphins, 21-19 🎥 @NFL pic.twitter.com/RNdOKuyhk5
That 43 yard run marks a career-long for Zack Moss (previous long was 31).
Yeah I would say Von Miller is locked in and ready to go #BillsMafia 👀👀👀 Over/Under 2 sacks on Tua today??? 📸 @thadbrown7 pic.twitter.com/T5NJpympkz
Matt Milano is going to HATE watching that back. He just had a pick-six and dropped it. What a horrible pass from Tua. Illegal shift from the offense though and the Dolphins punt it back to Bills.
Injury Update: CB Christian Benford is questionable to return (hand).
Dion Dawkins shares his perspective on the Micah Hyde injury when asked by @MattParrino. Very powerful and real #BillsMafia @WKBW pic.twitter.com/RHMP1LmySa
Without Christian Benford, the Bills are using CB Ja'Marcus Ingram, who was elevated from the teams practice squad yesterday. They are now without their top three CBs.
While the Bills lack experience today at 4 positions in the secondary, the Bills do have one experienced player to rely on heavily. Nickel cornerback Taron Johnson has been a mainstay and the Bills have played nickel defense almost exclusively since the start of the 2021 season.
Injury Update: WR Jake Kumerow is questionable to return (ankle).
Injury Update: G Ryan Bates is being evaluated for a head injury.
Allen connects with Quintin Morris. Tight end moves the chains and gets out of bounds.
Greg Rousseau is having a great game. Bills line having trouble getting to Tua, who's getting rid of the ball fast as expected. His win led to Damar Hamlin sack on the blitz.
Mitch Morse is questionable for this game with an elbow injury. He just walked by with a compression sleeve on his arm @WKBW #BillsMafia pic.twitter.com/EkSQn6aHSn
I talked to a couple of players about Greg Van Roten this week, who starts for Morse at center today. They said a vet like Van Roten is a settling influence b/c he knows all the calls & will be able to work effectively pre-snap with Allen. #Bills
Sean McDermott via @BuffaloBills: Heck of an effort. There are no ribbons for second place and they know it. We go back and we learn from this. One of the good things was the guts and heart and intangibles. #Bills #BillsMafia
Dolphins have their first lead the day. Right now, it's on Leslie Frazier for that 3rd down play call.
Bills have four wide receivers now with rookie WR Khalil Shakir inactive. twitter.com/agetzenberg/st…
NFLPA has told the NFL that it wants to initiate a review of the concussion protocols in light of Tua Tagovailoa's return to today's game in Miami, per source.
Once Tyreek Hill was informed the Dolphins are playing the Bengals Thursday, he immediately started talking trash to Eli Apple #Bengals #Dolphins "I owe you, boy" pic.twitter.com/FYkTa7c9k8
Dolphins take 21-17 lead here over Bills after Chase Edmonds TD. Miami going punch-for-punch with Buffalo and winning right now.

Tune in to our post-game press conference with Head Coach Mike McDaniel and players following our win over Buffalo. ⤵ï¸
Mike McDaniel indicated Tua Tagovailoa played through some back pain/discomfort. McDaniel said the 45-yard pass to Jaylen Waddle is one that he'll always remember: "It shows how gutsy he is, how tough is."
Tua is currently warming up on the sideline while Teddy Bridgewater wears a skull cap. I have no idea how he passed concussion protocol... but it sure looks like Tua is going back in the game.
Several Dolphins players talked about how lit the crowd was today. Xavien Howard said he couldn't hear calls on field at times. A couple others thanked fans for turning out. Bills turned out well but Dolphins fans were louder and deeper.
Healthy Raheem Mostert has been a breath of fresh air for the Dolphins' run game
Dolphins inactives vs the Bills: DT Raekwon Davis, TE Hunter Long, TE Cethan Carter, RB Myles Gaskin, WR Erik Ezukanma, QB Skylar Thompson, null
Whatever they say Christian Wilkins did, he did that sh!t. pic.twitter.com/Sy6AWuq4hD
Chopped it up with a passionate and very tired Dolphins S Jevon Holland â›„ï¸ after big win over Bills. Dolphins D played 90 snaps on humid day and held Buffalo just 17 points (2 came on special teams safety). And two huge stops on drives at the end. pic.twitter.com/Sx8alqzFD5
Injury Update | Greg Little has a finger injury and is questionable to return.
After losing seven straight contests to the Buffalo Bills, the Miami Dolphins walked away with a 21-19 victory in their Week 3 meeting.
Buffalo moved the ball methodically down the field for most of the game, including drives of 10 plays and 14 plays in the first half that resulted in touchdowns.
Miami’s offense started the game a little slow, but Jevon Holland’s strip-sack of Josh Allen (recovered by Melvin Ingram) set up the unit for Chase Edmonds to get the first rushing touchdown of his Dolphins tenure
He's warming up, throwing to Mike Gesicki. Probably safe to say he passed concussion testing -- they wouldn't let him back on the field otherwise twitter.com/Marcel_LJ/stat…
Injury Update | Elandon Roberts has a quad injury and is questionable to return.
Oh wow, Morstead just punted the ball directly into Trent Sherfield's back(side?) and the ball ricochets out of the endzone for a safety I have *NEVER* seen this before in my life
River Cracraft! For the second consecutive week it's a River Cracraft TD! And it's a laser thrown by Tua!
Connor Williams is a weapon at center for the Dolphins. He's got Pouncey potential.
Jaelan Phillips missed a huge tackle that would've got the Dolphins off the field on third down.
Alec Ingold with a big drop on a well-delivered ball from Tua. Didn't see it all the way through
Morstead once again kicks the soul out of the ball, Justin Bethel makes a hell of a play to down it at the 1-yard line
