what I'm watching for tonight: - Erik Ezukanma as a primary target - Mike Gesicki as a blocker - Noah Igbinoghene + Trill Williams as CB1 & CB2 - Salvon Ahmed had a strong week of practice, can that carry over into game day? - Skylar Thompson's processing speed in a live game twitter.com/miamidolphins/…

If you're a @KStateFB fan, you may want to tune in (try NFL+) to Dolphins at Bucs at 730 pm Eastern tonight. I suspect we'll see a lot of rookie QB Skylar Thompson #FinsUp #kstatewildcats #kstatesports #kstate pic.twitter.com/Ih9thKwWYJ

Long list of #Dolphins not playing in preseason game in Tampa tonight: Among them: Tua Tagovailoa, Tyreek Hill, Jaylen Waddle, Xavien Howard, Jevon Holland, Christian Wilkins, Jerome Baker and Terron Armstead. pic.twitter.com/dFwnEJhEr1

The Miami Dolphins are ready to begin their first campaign under new head coach Mike McDaniel, as they’re taking on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Raymond James Stadium on Saturday night.
For the matchup, the Dolphins have listed 17 players as “Not Expected to Play,” including quarterback Tua Tagovailoa.
Joining Tagovailoa on this list are running backs Chase Edmonds and Raheem Mostert, fullback Alec Ingold, wide receivers Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle, tight end Adam Shaheen, offensive linemen Connor Williams and Terron Armstead, defensive linemen Zach Sieler and Christian Wilkins, defensive end Emmanuel Ogbah, linebackers Melvin Ingram, Jerome Baker and Elandon Roberts, cornerback Xavien Howard and safety Jevon Holland

The Miami Dolphins had a lot of changes this offseason, as a number of talented players have entered their system and are ready to show that they can make an impact for this team.
On Saturday night, the Dolphins will take the field for the first time under new head coach Mike McDaniel for a preseason matchup with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Raymond James Stadium.
Before the game kicks off, here’s one last reminder of all 90 players on Miami’s roster, as well as what number they wear

Bucs won't have many of their starters playing tonight, but it should be a good look at all of their draft picks. First chance for Logan Hall, Luke Goedeke, Rachaad White, Cade Otton, Jake Camarda, Zyon McCollum, Ko Kieft and Andre Anthony to play on their home field.

Bucs have white jerseys and white pants tonight vs. Dolphins. Long-snapper Zach Triner as usual is the first one out in full uniform, with most players warming up in t-shirt and shorts ...

Tom Brady's training-camp hiatus did not arise from health of Brady or any of his family members, per @NFLSTROUD. wp.me/pbBqYq-ckOy

We don't know, but I'd fully expect Kyle Trask to get the most reps of the Bucs' three QBs tonight. They've made it clear they want to use these three games to get a better sense of what he can do. twitter.com/Clay_Critter/s…

We can anticipate Bucs who were held out of practices this week won't play, so in addition to top starters, no WR Russell Gage or Breshad Perriman, OLB JoJo Ozougwu. OT Josh Wells excused (baby born this week). Not sure if S Troy Warner would go.

The Miami Dolphins are set to play the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in both teams’ preseason opener on Saturday evening at Raymond James Stadium.
Miami’s coming into this game after an offseason full of changes that included a coaching swap, an influx of new talent and penalties levied against the organization. There are high hopes in the fanbase, with many believing they finally have enough around quarterback Tua Tagovailoa to make it to the postseason.
For Tampa Bay, while they also have a new man leading things in Todd Bowles, he was at least on the staff before Bruce Arians retired, so there’s some familiarity there. Quarterback Tom Brady also retired and unretired this offseason, so they’re expected to be close to where they were last season
