Sutton secured all five targets for 68 yards in the Broncos' 17-14 loss to the Browns on Thursday night.
The star wideout tied with Noah Fant for second on the team in receptions, and his yardage total, fueled by a team-high 31-yard grab, easily paced either club on the night. Sutton did see a notable drop from the 14 targets he'd logged Week 6 against the Raiders, but it wasn't unexpected on a night when Teddy Bridgewater only put up 33 attempts and targeted nine different players. Sutton will look to bounce back with a bump in his overall numbers against the vulnerable Washington secondary in a Week 8 home matchup a week from Sunday.

Teddy Bridgewater has multiple injuries, & now must deal with a foul, windy night by Lake Erie.
Meanwhile, Pat Shurmur says he's "very confident" in Drew Lock. If there are signs of trouble tonight, he shouldn't hesitate to call in Lock from the bullpen.

Teddy is BROKEN...and the TRUTH is they don't trust Drew Lock. He should be in with Teddy banged up, and you could make the argument Lock should've started at least the last game. If the lack of protection continues, we will see Lock..much to the chagrin of the staff @1043TheFan
So, at this moment, the Broncos have NONE of their intended starting linebackers:
Bradley Chubb (IR)
Alexander Johnson (out for season)
Josey Jewell (out for season)
Von Miller (currently in the blue tent)
Communication has been an issue lately for the #broncos on defense. They're extremely talented and it can be corrected quickly. Their leader, All Pro S Justin Simmons, has his mind on this game and is ðŸ™ðŸ» that he doesn't have to âœˆï¸ to Denver for a newborn baby. pic.twitter.com/z1Z83WHqgE
The wind is whipping Pat Shurmur's shirt as he chats with @MikeKlis on the field.

The Cleveland Browns will be far from healthy going into Thursday Night Football but they will get one player back. As reported this morning, wide receiver Jarvis Landry will be activated from the injured reserve for tonight’s game against the Denver Broncos.
Landry has been out since hurting his knee against the Houston Texans in Week 2. He was hurt after catching a short pass from Baker Mayfield and later placed on the injured reserve. Based on injured reserve rules, Landry was forced to miss at least three games
#Browns QB Baker Mayfield is expected to need surgery on his torn labrum following the season, sources say, the result of the hits he's taken on his non-throwing shoulder. The belief is he can deal with it through the season, but incurring more damage would make it challenging.
The reunion of Odell Beckham Jr. and Jarvis Landry for the 1st time in a year should give the battered #Browns and their fans hope: pre-game thoughts cleveland.com/browns/2021/10…
Tonight will mark the 8th different NFL team Case Keenum will start a game start for at QB.
He's made roughly $50.6 million dollars in contracts in the NFL.
D'Ernest Johnson became the 3rd @Browns RB to have 100+ scrimmage yards in a game this season, joining Nick Chubb & Kareem Hunt. The Browns are the only team to have 3 RBs with 100+ scrimmage yards in a game in 2021.
5 teams have yet to have 1 RB do so in a game this season.
That said, I was also told today Baker Mayfield had to be "forced" not to play, because left up to him he will be on the field wanting to fight on. I heard a similar sentiment was expressed about Nick Chubb, per league source.
Most FGs from 50+ yards by a Brown in a season:
1t. @phil_dawson_4 7 (2011)
1t. @phil_dawson_4 7 (2012)
3. Chase McLaughlin 4 (one quarter into the 7th game of 2021)
Jadeveon Clowney is rushing the passer as well as he has the last two years, but he now have five sacks this year instead of the zero he had last season.
After giving up 84 points in the last two games, the Cleveland Browns defense sorely needs to step up. With all the critical injuries on offense, it’s even more imperative.
To that end, defensive end Myles Garrett called a players-only meeting this week in advance of Thursday night’s key matchup with the Denver Broncos. Garrett and his mates have not played to the talent level or capability they demonstrated in allowing just 13 points in the two games prior to the ugly losses.
“Myles brought us up, and we had a conversation with the defense,†DT Malik Jackson said via USA TODAY. “He just told us we need to to get it together. Giving up [more than] 80 points in two weeks is unacceptable. So no matter what position we’re put in, we want to be great. We need to make stands and push people back and leave no points on the board, just really go out there and be exactly who we need to be and being consistent and just playing together — no MEs [mental errors], really.â€
