#Vikings coach Mike Zimmer said Greg Joseph has "done a good job" and he doesn't fault him for late missed kick. Said the wind was a factor.

Game News
Cook (ankle) rushed 29 times for 140 yards and a touchdown while catching both of his targets for three yards in Sunday's 34-28 overtime win over Carolina.
Cook was able to return after missing just one game (second overall) from a nagging ankle injury, which was great news for his fantasy managers considering the Vikings' bye is next week. The Vikings opting to deploy the star back right before a would-be extra week of rest bodes well for the overall health of the ankle, as if his stellar performance on the field wasn't proof enough. Now with the extra week to heal, Cook could be in store for a strong stretch of production when the Vikings return to action in Week 8 against the Cowboys.
Thielen (foot) corralled 11 of 13 targets for 126 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 34-28 overtime win over the Panthers.
Thielen had a foot injury crop up following last week's contest, but both he and Justin Jefferson (ankle) were cleared for action Sunday. The 30-year-old re-established himself as a key part of the Vikings' air attack with new season highs in receptions (11), yards (126) and targets (13) after seemingly taking a back seat to Jefferson over the past few weeks. Perhaps this monster performance will remind Kirk Cousins that the reliable veteran wideout can still wreak havoc on defenses when Minnesota returns from its bye week to take on the Cowboys in Week 8.
K.J. Osborn, the receiver who's making a name for himself in the shadows of superstar teammates, was an afterthought before the #Vikings snapped the ball on the two biggest plays in the game-winning drive that beat the Panthers. Story from @markcraignfl startribune.com/k-j-osborn-emb…
Longest reception for the Vikings: Tyler Conklin Longest run for the Vikings: C.J. Ham
Greg Joseph misses wide right from 47 yards. We'll head to OT. This is the fourth time in six weeks Kirk Cousins has put the Vikings in position for a game-tying or game-winning field goal.
Dalvin Cook, Alexander Mattison, Adam Thielen, Justin Jefferson, Anthony Barr all good to go. Vikings inactives: DT Michael Pierce, TE Ben Ellefson, QB Kellen Mond, WR Ihmir Smith-Marsette, DE Patrick Jones II, LB Chazz Surratt
Eric Kendricks after another roller coaster Vikings game: "I'm exhausted with it. We've got to put a full game together."

Mike Zimmer on his way out of the press conference: "I'm worn out." Same, honestly.
Christian Darrisaw starts at LT, the first start of his career. Darrisaw and Brian O'Neill both started their first game in Week 6 of their rookie seasons.
Bashaud Breeland records his 15th career interception and first as a Viking.
Vikings RT Brian O'Neill has given up 5 sacks in nearly 3,300 NFL snaps. Why has he been so proficient? All-Pro @MitchSchwartz71 along with Danielle Hunter and OL coach Phil Rauscher broke it down for me in extreme detail purpleinsider.substack.com/p/brian-oneill… pic.twitter.com/i2iSrKXivf
Some notes from the Vikings' snap counts today: -- Dede Westbrook played 10 snaps. Same with new TE Luke Stocker. -- Chris Herndon played more (23) than CJ Ham (20). -- Everson Griffen played 57 of 68 snaps. Wonnum played 32; Weatherly 7. -- Breeland played 55 snaps; Dantzler 24. pic.twitter.com/DdgY2Q17G2

Great job by Xavier Woods to maintain depth on the rollout instead of trying to attack Darnold. Tightened throwing windows, with Mack ultimately the one in coverage, who also had a great breakup
Cameron Dantzler turning his gift for creating WR drops into fumbles. He's evolving, becoming self-aware
#Vikings Injury Update: T Rashod Hill is probable to return with a knee injury. #MINvsCAR
James Lynch? Alright go for it my dude have a day
Rough flag on Dalvin Tomlinson for the facemask which would have been a great sack
Mackensie Alexander bails out the Panthers with a hold on third down. Seventh penalty of the day for the Vikings.
Kris Boyd giveth, Kris Boyd taketh away (penalty for holding on the return)

Haason Reddick, noting there are 11 games left, says: "The season isn't over, not even close."
Frankie Luvu with the blocked punt, Kenny Robinson with the scoop and score. Wow.
Eventful day for rookie Keith Taylor, who finished with 10 tackles, 3 PBUs and a FF. He was in coverage for the Thielen TD and the Osborn drag on third-and-3 in OT, but hard to fault him too much on either.
The Patriots have allowed 757 yards and six touchdowns in two games since trading Stephon Gilmore.
Terrace Marshall Jr. could barely make it off the field after that illegal hit by Xavier Woods.
Just a fake, ride-read, shovel pass to Tommy Tremble for the 2-pt conversion. And it's 28-all-incredibly. twitter.com/josephperson/s…
Donte Jackson is having a bad series in the midst of a good season.
Brian Burns will be sick for hours over it. Even if they win.
A.J. Bouye saves 2 points. He continues to make plays.
Panthers inactives: Injured: Shaq Thompson, Kamal Martin. Scratches: CJ Henderson, Phil Hoskins, Darryl Johnson, Spencer Brown. (Henderson also has been dealing with a shoulder injury.)
Panthers punt returner Alex Erickson (concussion) will not return. DJ Moore was back there on that one.
Wow. Wonder if they'd bring Joe Brady back as head coach. twitter.com/rossdellenger/…
Michael Jordan in for Dennis Daley at LG on that first down play.
Zane Gonzalez can't get the ball the EZ. Vikings will start at their 47 after a big return.
KJ Osborn gets behind Sean Chandler and that's the game, if it holds up on review.
Brandon Zylstra questionable to return with a hamstring injury.
Finally an explanation: Personal foul on Derrick Brown. TD stands. Vikings will go for 2.
That should just about do it. Looked like Michael Jordan got beat on the strip-sack.
