Ja'Marr Chase has scored his second TD of the day, giving him four this season. He's now tied with Gronk for the NFL lead in TD catches. I'm old enough to remember when he couldn't catch.

Game News
Cardinals' WR DeAndre Hopkins active. Bengals' WR Tee Higgins inactive.
Jackson Carman's first career start (RG) and D'Ante Smith first game active. Fully expect this to be a game the Bengals lean heavy on Joe Mixon and let their defense try to carry them and create short fields.
Assume there is a story behind it, but Tyler Boyd has one neon green shoe and glove then one light blue shoe and glove on while warming up here in Pittsburgh. These are my important pregame observations.

Jackson Carman's first #NFL start vs Pittsburgh 🔸 19 pass-blocking snaps 🔸 0 QB pressures allowed 🔸 0 sacks @ClemsonFB pic.twitter.com/GCNqxAQ7OF
Bengals get their third AFC North win in the Zac Taylor era, beat the Steelers 24-10. Second straight win for the Bengals over Pittsburgh.
Logan Wilson. Again. Interception. Three on year for him already.

Really enjoying being the charter member of the Chris Evans Fan Club.
Injury Update: CB Chidobe Awuzie is doubtful to return with a groin injury. OT Riley Reiff is probable to return with a left ankle injury.
Bengals defensive coordinator Lou Anarumo has had some kind of start to this regular season.
Breaking: Auden Tate has his first catch of the season (cc: @Ihartitz)
Bengals' kick/punt return has been low-key bad through 2+ weeks. Darius Phillips just cost the Bengals some great field position.
We've talked a lot about the #Steelers OL. This week Mike Tomlin said he's not changing anything, that this group needs to play through the struggles. Well... three drives. A false start, holding and an illegal formation on 3 diff OL. And an unblocked Sam Hubbard leads to an INT.
The vibe only gets better if the Bengals found a way to extend Jessie Bates in the next 3 days.
Injury Update: CB Chidode Awuzie is doubtful to return with a groin injury. OT Riley Reiff is probable to return with a left ankle injury.
#Bengals S Vonn Bell made a helluva play knocking the ball out of Ray Ray McCloud's hands. McCloud made an even tougher play battling to get the ball back. The #Steelers drive is still alive.
Former Steeler Mike Hilton and C.J. Uzomah the game day captains for the #Bengals
B.J. Hill with his third sack of the year. That might have been an 8 second sack. Ben held it forever
Bengals center Trey Hopkins called for his second holding call of the day.
#Bengals D with a third and out to start. Eli Apple with good coverage on a deep shot for Washington on third and 6.
One of the biggest differences in this defense this year is the willingness of players like Larry Ogunjobi running sideline to sideline. Another prime example there.
Claypool caught nine of 15 targets for 96 yards in Sunday's 24-10 loss to the Bengals.
Claypool ranked second behind running back Najee Harris (14 catches for 102 yards on 20 targets) in catches, receiving yards and targets, but both guys saw significant volume as Ben Roethlisberger threw 58 times as the Steelers trailed throughout. Diontae Johnson (knee) was inactive for this one and JuJu Smith-Schuster (ribs) exited early, leaving Claypool as the top option among Pittsburgh's wide receivers. Claypool will continue to play a prominent role in Pittsburgh's passing attack against the Packers in Week 4, especially if neither Johnson nor Smith-Schuster's ready to return.
Rodney Harrison on Ben Roethlisberger: "He looks extremely old."
Steelers' WR JuJu Smith-Schuster ruled out for today with a rib injury.
Najee Harris had 19 targets today. That's the second-highest target total from a running back since targets started getting recorded in 1992. (Kamara had 20 in 2018.)

The Pittsburgh Steelers came into this week’s game with the Cincinnati Bengals banged up on the wide receiver depth chart. Diontae Johnson is out with a knee injury and now JuJu Smith-Schuster joins him.
Smith-Schuster has suffered a knee injury and will miss the rest of Sunday’s game. Smith-Schuster had been largely ineffective against Cincinnati, much like the rest of the Steelers offense. Smith-Schuster leaves the game with three receptions for 25 yards.

TJ Watt is standing on the sidelines, next to Mike Tomlin. He's wearing an audio pack/earpiece and just helped signal something to the D. Now he's walking over to congratulate guys for getting off the field on fourth down. The #Steelers star may not be playing, but he's involved.
Chris Boswell hit 52 of his last 55 kicks dating back to 2019 so of course he misses a 42-yarder today
#Steelers OT Chukwuma Okorafor has been ruled out and is being evaluated for a possible concussion.
Look for Derek Watt to get some increased work.
Bengals got Boyd in a one-on-one against Devin Bush in the slot by going empty there. That's what you call a significant mismatch. And it played out that way.
Pretty cool moment for former UDFA Jamir Jones. He's getting the start with TJ Watt and Alex Highsmith out, and he's the first Steeler introduced out of the tunnel.
Steelers tried a throw in the flats to Harris on fourth down. Lots of boos at Heinz Field and the stadium starts to empty out. Matt Canada, wyd?
And now every single #Steelers OL has been penalized. Well, except for Joe Haeg, who just came in for RT Chuks Okorafor. A couple false starts, an illegal formation, two holdings…
Burrow picked off by Pittsburgh safety Terrell Edmunds. Tried to squeeze a pass into a small window to Boyd over the middle. Tipped, picked.
C Kendrick Green's knee injury doesn't appear too serious. Initial evaluation shows he's dealing with a bone bruise on his left knee, per source.

After being limited at practice at week, Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker T.J. Watt was hopeful he would be able to play against the Cincinnati Bengals. Watt is dealing with a groin injury and was downgraded from questionable to out on Saturday. Let’s talk about why this was the smart move for the Steelers
The best thing to happen for the Steelers today was that favorable bounce on Pressley Harvin's punt and Jamir Jones' tackle.
With Dan Moore Jr.'s false start, every single Steelers offensive lineman -- except Joe Haeg who came in for Okorafor -- has a penalty.
Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Tee Higgins, who was listed as doubtful for Sunday’s game against the Steelers with a shoulder injury, is not expected to play, per ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
Higgins did not practice Wednesday or Thursday and was limited on Friday. With Higgins out, the Bengals could work in a mix of Mike Thomas and Auden Tate in Higgins’ spot.
It will also be interesting to watch where Steelers corner Joe Haden lines up and who he matches up against between Ja’Marr Chase and Tyler Boyd
Nothing like going from being a former undrafted rookie and roster bubble candidate to NFL starter in just a few short months. This is the position Pittsburgh Steelers edge rusher Jamir Jones finds him in as the Steelers prepare to take on the Cincinnati Bengals minus both of their starting outside linebackers.
With the news on Saturday that T.J. Watt was downgraded to OUT for the game, Jones is the most likely candidate to replace him in the lineup. Jones would line up opposite veteran Melvin Ingram who is replacing Alex Higsmith. Both Watt and Highsmith are out with groin injuries
