Cordarrelle Patterson once told me he buys most of his clothes from Forever 21 and people just assume they're designer because he's a professional athlete. I respect it so much.

Game News
Making history. Matt Ryan has more passing yards than any other player in their first 14 NFL seasons. pic.twitter.com/zus1bUv29L
Just posted a thread on how the Bucs' secondary might line up -- we don't know if Carlton Davis' hamstring (which showed up on injury report Friday) will be a factor. If he's a go, Bucs will likely have him on Calvin Ridley much of the game, regardless of what defense they're in.
WR Russell Gage is questionable to return with an ankle injury.
In Sunday afternoon's loss to the Buccaneers, Kyle Pitts Cordarrelle Patterson fully emerged as offensive weapons. "What you're seeing is why we brought Kyle in here… Hopefully, he continues to build on it." -Arthur Smith atlfal.co.nz/2VZSYm4
The Atlanta Falcons had just one player, wide receiver Frank Darby, on their Week 2 injury report ahead of today’s matchup against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Just over an hour before kickoff, the Falcons have released their inactives list, and there are no major surprises.
Defensive lineman John Cominsky is probably the most notable player listed. Others include quarterback Feleipe Franks, running back Wayne Gallman, and cornerback Darren Hall.

The Falcons are expected to waive former Georgia punter Cameron Nizialek this week and sign a replacement after Nizialek had two costly shanked punts in the game, a source told @TheAthletic

Deion Jones with the SACK. Just came right through the protection. Bucs are looking at a third and very long.
Dean Pees said on Wednesday that the Falcons had to limit the deep ball. The Bucs had three 20+ yard passes in that drive.
Falcons CB A.J. Terrell is OUT with a concussion.
Falcons have Josh Rosen in for the final four minutes.
The Atlanta Falcons fell to 0-2 on the year following Sunday’s 48-25 loss to the heavily favored Tampa Bay Buccaneers. While it won’t be a game that Falcons fans remember fondly, there were at least some bright spots in the team’s Week 2 performance.
Rookie tight end Kyle Pitts had a nice day, linebacker Dante Fowler had a sack/fumble and wide receiver Calvin Ridley scored his first touchdown of the year. On the down side, Matt Ryan threw multiple interceptions and the defense did nothing to slow down Tom Brady
#Falcons OLB Dante Fowler with the sack strip. Mykal Walker with the recovery. #Falcons were only rushing three on third and 20 from the 23.
Falcons just went five wide with Lee Smith in the game. I have some thoughts.
Patterson takes it into the endzone from 10 yards out. Great run blocking from Kaleb McGary and Matt Hennessy. Bucs lead 14-7, but the Falcons are on the board.
This is interesting. Looks like Jaylinn Hawkins is replacing Duron Harmon at safety for the Falcons. Harmon on the bench, helmet in hand.
That's a really great stand by this defense. Foye popping the ball out... Terrrell with the PBU... Marlon Davidson/Grady Jarrett with the sack.
Solid defensive stand by the Falcons. Isaiah Oliver with a nice hit on third down that pops the ball out. The incompletion brings out the punt team. Atlanta will get the ball back with 10 minutes to go in the half.
A great return by Avery Williams but it's called back because of a block in the back. Falcons start on their own 12.
Dating back to Week 16 of the 2020 season, Tom Brady now has thrown at least four TD passes in four consecutive regular-season games, tied with Dan Marino for the second-longest such streak in NFL history. Only Peyton Manning with five straight games in 2004 has a longer streak.
Happy game-day morning! Bucs and Falcons don't go until 4 today, so lots of time to read before you even get to the early games to help you get to kickoff. I'll start by plugging my story this week on Mike Evans and his proud hometown of Galveston, Texas: theathletic.com/2807881/2021/0…
Brate had one catch for 8 yards on his only target of the night. O.J. Howard and Tyler Johnson also had their first catches of the season. twitter.com/JuanJean2/stat…
With over 43 receiving yards against the Baltimore Ravens in Week 2, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce has claimed a piece of NFL history.
Kelce has become the fastest tight end in NFL history to reach 8,000 receiving yards, doing so in just 113 games. He had a chance to get it done last week against the Cleveland Browns, but he gets it done in prime-time on “Sunday Night Football†instead. Kelce surpasses Tampa Bay Buccaneers TE Rob Gronkowski, who reached 8,000 receiving yards in 120 career games with his previous team, the New England Patriots
Leonard Fournette absolutely saves the day with a diving block of a free Atlanta blitzer, allowing Tom Brady to get off a 17-yard pass to Antonio Brown.
Every player in Buccaneers history with two pick-sixes in a single regular-season game: Ronde Barber, Mike Edwards. (Dwight Smith also did it in Super Bowl XXXVII.)
Bucs receiver Chris Godwin wore a Roberto Clemente â¦@Piratesâ© jersey and yellow Nikes to postgame interview. Said sports bring people together and Clemente epitomized that. pic.twitter.com/OWH4Eqbdmx
Bruce Arians says the Bucs' offense "left points out there" today. Scary.
Another sack -- Ronald Jones didn't pick up a blitzing Deion Jones and it's now third and 28.
Buccaneers reached out to FA CB Richard Sherman last week after Sean Murphy-Bunting injury (per @TomPelissero) nfl.com/news/multiple-… pic.twitter.com/dIIMK8jI51
Carlton Davis is up, walking off on his own.
WR Jaydon Mickens is out for the remainder of the game. pic.twitter.com/kHzpxygoeY
Shaq Barrett gives Rakeem Nunez-Roches credit for getting the defense fired up and playing well in the fourth quarter. Nunez-Roches also made a huge play on third down.
Bucs huddle at midfield at end of warmups, and it's Devin White talking to the team as they head back into the locker room. Kickoff in 20 minutes.
Bucs are among the teams included here as reaching out to Richard Sherman. Today's an important game to see how the defensive secondary can play without SMB with a full week of prep. All eyes on Cockrell/Edwards as fifth DB, as well as corner Jamel Dean holding up better. twitter.com/TomPelissero/s…
Hesse's penalty was brutal for the #Falcons. Instead of being at TB's 46, they had to start at the Atlanta 12. That was an 42-yard penalty and then disaster in the form of Vita Vea on Matt Hennessy strikes with a tip pass. Now, you're verge off getting run out of the stadium.
Falcons throw a screen to Davis but Lavonte David gets there quick for 2-yard gain. Third and 9 now for Atlanta.
Bucs get their first sack of the game -- Ndamukong Suh gets in there and Falcons will punt.
Bucs say Jaydon Mickens has a hip injury, his return questionable. Scotty Miller just handled the kickoff return. Bucs go from their 32.
Bucs OLB Jason Pierre-Paul, who missed practice with a right hand injury, is in uniform and warning up.
Jordan Whitehead went at full speed all week, doesn't even appear on the final injury report. He's fine, and a big boost to Bucs' secondary. twitter.com/9527narendra/s…
Bucs' inactives today vs. Falcons: RB Ke'Shawn Vaughn, WR Jaelon Darden, OL Nick Leverett, DL Khalil Davis, QB Kyle Trask. All were inactive last week.
Rosen misses on fourth down, and Bucs take over. Blaine Gabbert in, likely to take a knee a few times ...
As rare as two pick-sixes in a quarter are, two Bucs coaches have seen it in person. 1992: Cards' Robert Massey gets two vs. Washington with Todd Bowles playing in the game. 1986: Lloyd Burruss gets two for Chiefs and Bucs assistant Kevin Ross scored a touchdown between the two.
Another punt for Bradley Pinion inside the 20 -- Falcons fair catch and start at their 11. A net 41-yard punt as he continues a strong start to the season. #puntsforpups
PINion lives it up to his name as Andrew Adams downs the ball at the 4-yard line. #Bucs
