It wasn't pretty early on, but Antonio Gibson finished as the #10 scoring fantasy RB. He posted five top-7 fantasy weeks during his last eight games of the season.

Washington has a 1,000-yard receiver (Terry McLaurin) and 1,000-yard rusher (Antonio Gibson) in the same season for the first time since 2014, when Alfred Morris and DeSean Jackson both topped 1K.

Jamin Davis with a huge stop. Read it well. Big stick.
One year ago today, Taylor Heinicke mania began. He played an inspired and impressive game in a playoff loss against TB and changed his career trajectory for the rest of time. He went from nomadic roster-hopeful to NFL QB. pic.twitter.com/QbqDaBKhV3
Tress Way just dropped a punt inside the 5 that had come to a stop at the one yard-line. Troy Apke dove and knocked it into the endzone. Pull the curtains close on 2022.
1) I tried to tell you the Giants were disgusting to watch. It was stunning how bad their offense was when I went back and watched their games over the last month. 2) WFT has been almost as inept. If Rivera wants to pull away, Kyle Allen should play in the 2nd half.
And the kick is good: Joey Slye from 43. WFT 6, NYG 0. Halftime. Giants were outscored 79-0 in the final two minutes of the first half this season. twitter.com/art_stapleton/…
Final 2021 season numbers for Curtis Samuel: Games played - 5 Snaps - 84 Touchdowns - 0 Receptions - 6 Yards - 27 Rushes - 4 (11 yards) twitter.com/BenStandig/sta…
Here's how I'd be looking to play out today if I'm Washington: -Get McLaurin his 40 yards to reach 1k on the season ASAP, then roll with Cam Sims, Dyami Brown outside and Dax Milne in the slot rest of the game. (I'd also offer McLaurin an extension ASAP)
Jeremy Reaves plays really fast and is as physical as anybody on the #WashingtonFootball roster. I always enjoy how hard he plays when he gets a chance to get on the grass.
Three seventh-round picks over the past two seasons have contributed half-sacks today. James Smith-Williams, William Bradley-King and Shaka Toney are all on the sack sheet today for the #WashingtonCommanders. (Just trying this on for size to see how I felt about it).
#WashingtonFootball's opening drive stalls in the red zone. They'll take a 3-0 lead after an 11-play, 76-yard march. Heinicke missed an open Cam Sims with a pass that sailed on 3rd-and-goal. Rivera then brought on the FG team.
Sammis Reyes being inactive today is a real bummer. I was hoping he would benefit from the insignificance of Week 18 and be force-fed his first few receptions of the season. #WashingtonFootball
Jonathan Allen's up to a career-best nine sacks in his 5th season. He and rookie William Bradley-King split #WashingtonFootball's first sack of Jake Fromm today. pic.twitter.com/j4iBh9ftVJ
Golladay had beaten Darryl Roberts on a double move. Decent throw from Fromm, but Golladay can't quite reach it. Washington gets lucky pic.twitter.com/Vozq37q040
Credit Tim Settle with a tackle for loss. He's made a couple of really impressive plays over the past couple of weeks. Settle is a free agent to be. DT-hungry teams should give him a long look. He could give a team more with more playing time. #WashingtonFootball
Coach Ron Rivera was straightforward in his Friday weekly appearance on the Kevin Sheehan Show (M-F 6-9 AM on the Team 980).
Sheehan was well-prepared with his questions Friday for Coach Rivera:
“What did you get out of him (Charles Leno) that surprised you?â€
Washington signed Leno to a three-year contract extension last week.
“Who’s next (that you would like to re-sign) of players who are set to become unrestricted free agents?â€
Coach Ron did not hesitate to say, “It’s about trying to keep the guys we truly feel fit around here, and get them taken care of as quickly as possible.â€
The Giants used a first-round pick on a WR in Kadarius Toney and made Kenny Golladay the highest-paid WR in free agency by spending $72M over 4 years. Neither scored a TD this season. Not an ideal start.
I believe Giants brass is torn on what to do w Joe Judge bc of revolving door of coaches they've had in recent years. Have hesitation to move on bc they'd add to that revolving door. At same time I have heard a ton of frustration inside that locker room. Not a little, a lot
Sorry, even for those of us who were OK with a Year 3 for Joe Judge a few weeks ago, it's no longer OK. He made it easy on John Mara. He fired himself. The Giants absolutely need a new head coach to go with their new GM.
WFT completely stunned by the Giants attempting a real forward pass. Darius Slayton wide-open for a 22-yard TD. The dozens in attendance whipped into a frenzy!
A Giants WR caught a TD pass for the first time since Week 7, Oct. 24, vs. Carolina, when Dante Pettis got into the end zone.
For missteps Joe Judge and Giants have made on offensive side of the ball, he does deserve some credit for bold move of hiring Patrick Graham as his assistant HC and DC. The move was not celebrated, and Judge saw something in Graham, and that was a move he gets zero credit for.
The New York Giants (4-12) and Washington Football Team (6-10) square off on Sunday afternoon at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey in Week 18.
Both teams have officially announced their inactives for the game. Below is a full list:
For the Giants, Jakes Fromm will get the start at quarterback, while David Sills sees action in place of Kadarius Toney.

Who says this game is meaningless? • James Bradberry can earn a $250K bonus with an INT (5 total for season) • Devontae Booker can earn a $125K bonus with 71 rushing yards (650 total) Full rundown of incentives earned here: theathletic.com/3055600/2022/0…
The home fans cheering as if the Giants scored a TD every time No. 79 (Korey Cunningham) is declared eligible by the officials just amplifies the absurdity of this game.
Not that the Giants were going to overcome a 6-0 deficit anyway, but ... It's over now. WFT S Bobby McCain with a 30-yard Pick 6 after he jumps in front of TE Evan Engram to pick off Jake Fromm. The 2-pointer fails, but it's still 12-0. pic.twitter.com/DWfIQ3jb1S
One more quarter left in this miserable season: Football Team 12, Giants 0 Jake Fromm: 8 of 15, 39 yards Saquon Barkley: 10 carries, 27 yards Kenny Golladay: 1 catch, 9 yards Giants: 94 total yards of offense. pic.twitter.com/HmfEZyuuCf
• Kyle Rudolph has 22 catches for 240 yards and 1 TD. He would have earned $250K apiece for 55 catches, 650 yards and 5 TD. Golladay, Jackson and Rudolph also each had $250K bonuses for a Pro Bowl selection.
G Will Hernandez (ankle) has been ruled out. Could mark the end of the second-round pick's career with Giants.
Judge is still holding the red challenge flag as the teams take the field for the start of the second quarter. Should keep it in his pocket. Xavier McKinney has five interceptions and has dropped a few others. Good sign that he's always around the ball.
Lorenzo Carter defending Joe Judge. He's not under contract for next season. Says he would love to come back here and, while saying he won't reveal behind the scenes conversations, but it's clear Zo is one of those pending free agents Judge referenced about wanting to return.
The first time the Giants go back in an obvious pass situation and try to throw ... sack. Ben Bredeson at LG can't handle Jon Allen.
Keion Crossen is a good special teams player. Best part of the Giants this season -- the coverage units.
Daniel Jones out here just minding his business and still catching strays! 😂pic.twitter.com/Yk9arbsE2B
Have to imagine Joe Judge's biggest regret from Year 1 to Year 2, and it looms large right now as his uncertain future is debated: not completely wiping the offensive slate clean and bringing in a new system instead of running it back with Jason Garrett: northjersey.com/story/sports/n…
Yikes. On 4th and 1 from the WFT 32 the Giants ran a jet sweep to Alex Bachman that everyone saw coming. He had no blockers in front of him and was hit immediately for a 3-yard loss. That was either a terrible design or someone missed an assignment, because that wasn't right.
Lorenzo Carter was credited with that sack, but it sure looked like Azeez Ojulari deserved at least half of it.
