For the Texans, receiver Chris Conley (knee), tight end Jordan Akins (illness), quarterback Deshaun Watson (not injury related), defensive end Chris Smith, defensive end Derek Rivers, and defensive end Ron’Dell Carter, and defensive tackle Jaleel Johnson were declared inactive.
Receiver Chris Moore, who was questionable with an illness, is active.

It won't surprise me if coach David Culley gets fired by Nick Caserio and Jack Easterby after 1 season. It would be terribly unfair based on what they've stuck him with not to give him a second season. If he's fired, I expect Caserio and Easterby to hire a buddy from the Patriots

Houston is, officially, one year removed from the Bill O’Brien era. On January 7, 2021, Nick Caserio was hired and every week since then has been dedicated to rebuilding an absolute mess left over by his predecessor.
Overwhelmingly, Caserio has done a fine job. He’s moved off several of the abysmal contracts signed during O’Brien’s tenure as general manager, accumulated draft capital, and seemingly hit a home run in his first rookie draft. Davis Mills, Nico Collins, Roy Lopez, and Garret Wallow have all been fine contributors during their first season in Houston despite their low draft investment

This is an example of how wretched the Texans are. Tannehill throws deep to Brown. Lonnie Johnson intercepts in the end zone, but S Eric Murray called for a 45-yard interference play. And Tannehill throws a 4-yard TD pass to Westbrook-Ikhine for a 21-0 lead.
Memo to OC Tim Kelly: Stop handing off the ball up the middle and losing yards. We don't need to see Burkhead and Johnson running for minus yards.
What a play by Tannehill. On third and 5, he got away from what should have been a sack by Jacob Martin and found Westbrook-Ikhine for a 36-yard gain. Wow!
HOUSTON — Despite having a breakout season during his second year in the league, injuries have been a significant problem for defensive end Jonathan Greenard.
According to the Houston Texans, Greenard is questionable to return to the Week 18 match against the Tennessee Titans with a foot injury. Greenard sustained the injury at the 2:26 mark of the first quarter at NRG Stadium.
Greenard has been a bright spot for the Texans amidst their 4-12 record. He leads the team in sacks with 8.0 on the season and has recorded two force fumbles in the process
