Game News
Edmonds (ankle) rushed six times for 53 yards and failed to catch his lone target in Sunday's 30-12 loss to Detroit.
Edmonds was productive on a per-touch basis in his first action since Week 9, but neither he nor James Conner (70 scrimmage yards on 10 touches) were fed the ball much as the Cardinals surprisingly spent the entire game fruitlessly attempting to play catch-up. Conner thrived while Edmonds was out and will likely see the majority of touches in Week 16 against the Colts, but don't be too quick to write Edmonds off given his robust 5.9 yards per carry this season.
The #AZCardinals will have Kyler Murray watch the rest from the sidelines, as Colt McCoy is in. They'll lose to the #Lions, a survivor pool-busting, stunning result.
Cardinals' WR DeAndre Hopkins, who tore his MCL last week, "could be back" for the NFC Championship Game or Super Bowl if the Cardinals were to make it that far, per source. But it would be "unrealistic" to expect him to return any earlier, said the source.
Ertz (hamstring) is active for Sunday's game at Detroit.
A late-week addition to the Cardinals' injury report, Ertz will sidestep the hamstring issue that limited him at Friday's practice and earned him a questionable designation for this contest. Now that he's been confirmed as available for Week 15 action, he'll look to strike against a Lions defense that has allowed nearly 8.0 yards per target (seventh worst in the NFL) but only four total TDs (tied for 18th most) to tight ends in 13 games this season.
Defense stands tall in red zone and Cardinals bring in Matt Prater and FG unit. #AZvsDET
Kliff Kingsbury, you can pick up your kneecap on I-94 on the way to the airport.
Kirk caught nine of 12 targets for 94 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 30-12 loss to the Lions.
Kirk stepped into the No. 1 wide receiver role in DeAndre Hopkins' (knee) absence, setting new season highs in catches and targets, but the rest of the Cardinals struggled as the team suffered a shocking loss to a Lions team that came into the game with a 1-11-1 record. His 26-yard touchdown with just 4:40 left in the game was too little too late, but it raised Kirk's season touchdown total to five heading into a Week 16 visit from the vulnerable Colts pass defense.
Isaiah Simmons back on the field for the Cards.
Turnover, and much needed. Lions fumble, and when they unpile everyone, Byron Murphy has it.
First play, a sack of Goff by Jordan Phillips.
Based on #AZCardinals warmups, Max Garcia slides to center to replace Rodney Hudson (Covid list) with Josh Jones taking over at right guard. Justin Pugh indeed back at left guard.
Good sequence by defense and Rondale Moore punt return there. Sets up Cards at their own 39. They've got to do something with it, though.
That's the Panthers' first INT since Donte Jackson got one off Colt McCoy in the first quarter of the Week 10 win in ARI.
The Arizona Cardinals get back two offensive starters as they take on the Detroit Lions in Week 15. They released their list of inactive players for the game and none are starters.
Only Kerr was injured. He was questionable with a rib injury.
Everyone else who was listed as questionable — running back James Conner, guard Justin Pugh and tight end Zach Ertz — will suit up and play.
Pugh will start at left guard. With Rodney Hudson on the COVID list, Max Garcia will start at center and Josh Jones presumably will start at right guard with Garcia at center
Lions try an onside kick but Joe Walker is there to grab it for the Cardinals.
Jared Goff has won 8 straight vs the Cardinals 👀 pic.twitter.com/ryzPMk8OlM
As in practice earlier this week, Craig Reynolds is taking the first RB reps during pregame drills. Lions already ride with the hot hand so take that with a grain of salt, but Reynolds should get plenty of work again.
Look at the block here by Josh Reynolds, or the effort that 180-pound Kalif Raymond gives as the point man on this play. The Lions have a team full of fringe guys just playing their asses off. pic.twitter.com/A1OTRVWLIf
Lions' S Tracy Walker downgraded to Out for today's game vs. Arizona due to an illness.

D'Andre Smith goes straight to Godwin Igwebuike on the bench to give him some support. Penei Sewell over with a handshake and some supportive words, too. Good to see from the Lions, but that's a killer turnover.
Has there been a better or more surprising development this year than Charles Harris? He now has more sacks this year (7.0) than he had in his first four NFL seasons combined (6.5). What a find by this staff.
Both Jalen Reeves-Maybin and Alex Anzalone are active for the Lions today. INACTIVES: Jonah Jackson, Tracy Walker, D'Andre Swift and Julian Okwara top the list
The Arizona Cardinals (10-3) face the Detroit Lions (1-11-1) on the road in Week 15. The Cardinals are heavily favored and have been fantastic on the road this season. They are 7-0 away from home and have won every game by at least 10 points.
They will be without receiver DeAndre Hopkins, who had knee surgery and is out until late in the playoffs. However, they are expected to get running back Chase Edmonds and guard Justin Pugh back in the lineup.
Detroit is missing its two best offensive weapons in tight end T.J. Hockenson, who had season-ending thumbs surgery, and running back D’Andre Swift, who is out with a shoulder injury
And now a Cabinda touchdown catch. This game has been Dan Campbell's dream so far.

Who rolled the dice on Amon-Ra St. Brown today? 🎲 🔥 17.9 FAN PTS 🔥 79 REC YDS 🔥 1 TD pic.twitter.com/QiDaEww4WA
@AmaniO And Jason Cabinda adds the TD one play laterâ—ï¸
Kyler wanted to go the other way with that throw, but Will Harris had his guy locked up. The Lions turning Harris into even a semi-competent cornerback might be Aaron Glenn's best trick yet, and he's pulled out a lot of tricks this year.
Jalen Reeves-Maybin has been massive today in keeping Murray pinned down. Another guy the Lions should be trying to bring back next season.
Lions were going for it on fourth down again and would've gotten it, except TE Brock Wright false started. So the Cards get their first official stop.
Lions have Will Harris playing as an outside CB in their 7 on 7 pregame drills, with Dean Marlowe and CJ Moore as first-team safeties

#Lions Injury Update: LB Alex Anzalone (Shoulder) has been downgraded to Out.
Already shorthanded, the Detroit Lions will face the Arizona Cardinals without starting left guard Jonah Jackson. The team’s ironman on the offensive line is one of the big names on the inactive player list for Week 15.
The Lions ruled out RB D’Andre Swift and OLB Julian Okwara in the final injury report on Friday. With several players, including RB Jamaal Williams, still on the reserve/COVID-19 list, the inactive player list doesn’t necessarily reflect just how decimated the Detroit roster is at this point in the season

The Detroit Lions put on their best performance of the season, defeating the 10-win Arizona Cardinals in their return to Ford Field.
There are many players who deserve credit for the team’s fantastic showing, including several members of Detroit’s 2021 rookie class.
The two rookies on the offensive line had an exceptional game. First-round pick Penei Sewell started at right tackle and once again made sure his starting quarterback wasn’t sacked. Filling in for Jonah Jackson at left guard was undrafted rookie Tommy Kraemer. Kraemer had a rough go of things in his last start, but he more than made up for it against Arizona. The rookie committed no penalties and held his own against the Cardinals’ top-ranked defense
