Quite the day for the Penny brothers: Seahawks' RB Rashaad Penny sets a career-high in rushing yards and scores a TD, while older brother and Giants' FB Elijhaa Penny just caught a TD.

DK Metcalf landed hard on his back trying to catch that 2nd-down pass from Russell Wilson, came out of the game for 3rd down. Penny Hart replaced him in 3 WR with Swain, Lockett--and Waldron had Dallas run inside for 13 yards before FG. Metcalf seems fine sitting on bench.
That was hardly a definitive score by Gerald Everett, but some measure of redemption for his nightmarish game last week. It included two lost fumbles and a drop that turned a would-be TD into an interception.
Alex Collins the first running back, Rashaad Penny the second in Seahawks pregame at Houston.

Hoping for a big Seahawks win so I can share bad-faith Jamal Adams On/Off splits afterwards
3rd and 17. Seattle calls a run. It gets 13 yards. Some Seattle offensive players wanna go for it. They don't. Jason Myers hits from 38 yards. It's 19-13, Seahawks.
Gavin Heslop is down holding his leg. damn, that stinks. He *just* got in the game for his first defensive snaps. Now the injury cart is coming out.
.@Seahawks injury update: DT Bryan Mone will not return to the game (knee).
We're gonna find out that Pete Carroll *really* took Dee Eskridge in the second round because he's a good blocker
Darrell Taylor with his team leading sixth sack of the season.
#Seahawks drive stalls, then Michael Dickson does Michael Dickson things, pinning the Texans at the 2-yard line.
The Seahawks beat the Texans, 33-13. The Seahawks are 5-8 and, as Pete Carroll would say, they "ain't dead yet."
Bless Austin is in the game. Sidney Jones is not.
Play-action shots to Tyler, third-down throws to DK, over-the-middle quick throws to Will Dissly -- are we in Week 1 right now?

If right tackle Jake Curhan replaces Brandon Shell today, which seems likely, it'll be the first career start for the undrafted rookie.
Oh no, D.J. Reed is down and Ryan Neal immediately waves over the medical staff to look at him.
Freddie Swain has twice been able to return punts when a Texans gunner overruns the play (presumably thinking they were going to be trying to down it if he let it bounce)
All-Pro LB Bobby Wagner on what DT Al Woods has meant to Seahawks' defense right in front of him: "He's been huge." @thenewstribune pic.twitter.com/dpm7UOa8uj
Al Woods is celebrating every one of his plays today like a WWE wrestler. Except the roughing-the-snapper penalty, that is.
Quandre Diggs just took a pick away from Ryan Neal, but again, fourth down so it's #Seahawks ball.
Carlos Dunlap getting more early-down work this week. Probably gonna end up being his highest snap count since the Green Bay game
Seahawks with a lot of success running over the right side, where Jake Curhan is starting at right tackle, in this game.

Texans placed RB David Johnson on the Reserve/COVID-19 list. He's out for today vs. Seattle.
Freeman rushed 11 times for 15 yards and caught six of eight targets for 51 yards in Sunday's 33-13 loss to the Seahawks.
Freeman took over as the lead back after Rex Burkhead (groin) left the game, as David Johnson didn't dress because he's in COVID-19 protocols. He couldn't find any running room but was effective as a pass-catcher. If neither Burkhead nor Johnson are cleared to return in Week 15, Freeman would be an appealing option in a favorable matchup against Jacksonville.
Texans looked like a legitimate NFL offense on that first series. Mills threw on the run, avoided the rush and completed 5 of 5 for 72 yards. He completed passes to five different receivers, including rookie TE Brevin Jordan for a 5-yard TD and a 7-0 lead.

HOUSTON — Houston Texans running back Rex Burkhead is questionable to return to Sunday’s Week 14 match against the Seattle Seahawks. Burkhead sustained a groin injury during the third quarter, with the Texans trailing 19-13.
At the time of his groin injury, Burkhead had rushed for 40 yards on 11 carries in hopes of helping the Texans end their two-game losing skid.
“Execution, that’s what it comes down to,†Burkhead said following practice on Wednesday. “From the get-go, starting fast. Last week we kind of started slow there at the beginning, for sure.â€
#Texans tight end Jordan Akins is active for the first time since Week 9 against the Dolphins.
Apparent TD to Metcalf called back due to hold on Gabe Jackson against Jonathan Greenard.
Initial diagnosis for Kamu Grugier-Hill's right knee injury: no ligament tear, per league sources, but did suffer a sprain. Will be examined further to determine if swelling will allow him to play after aggravating knee Sunday against Seahawks
HOUSTON — Houston Texans wide receiver Davion Davis sustained an ankle injury during the first quarter of Sunday’s Week 14 match against the Seattle Seahawks. His return is questionable.
Davis went down with the injury after completing a 13-yard reception from rookie quarterback Davis Mills. The drive ended in Mills finding tight end Brevin Jordan for a Texans’ 7-0 lead.
Davis joined the Texans in October following a short stint with the Cleveland Browns. He was on the Texans’ practice squad until Danny Amendola went down with a knee injury during the Texans’ 21-14 loss to the New York jets
Texans converted tight end Jeff Driskel, a former quarterback, is active for today's game against Seahawks. Has cross-trained at tight end and on special teams since making the shift from QB. Tyrod Taylor backs up rookie Davis Mills today

The Houston Texans took some injuries in the 33-13 loss to the Seattle Seahawks Sunday afternoon at NRG Stadium.
The NFL season is known for its attrition, and the Texans certainly are taking it on as they concluded Week 14. Their Friday injury report going into the Seahawks matchup was the longest it has been since Week 1.
Coach David Culley met with the media after the loss and provided an update on some of the injuries that hit Houston, who now falls to 2-11 on the year. Here is a look at the players who were injured or were otherwise unavailable on game day for Houston
The Houston Texans had another dismal outing rushing the football as they generated 63 yards on 25 carries in their 33-13 loss to the Seattle Seahawks Sunday afternoon at NRG Stadium.
According to Texans center Justin Britt, the Texans got behind in the second half, and it forced Houston to start throwing the ball more.
“I thought in the first half we had a great balance and our approach was there,†said Britt. “They’re a really good defense, really good team as far as effort and how they fly to the football. We knew that. I told the guys how to prepare and the energy and effort we would need. I thought up front that we had the effort and the strain, and I felt like we did it through 60 minutes. We had the ball longer than them. We just, like I said, got down and had to get away from the run game pretty quick.â€
Texans vs. Seahawks first quarter recap
Texans 3rd drive (16 plays, 72 yards, 8:55) — Houston responded well and didn’t panic, even after facing a second-and-16. Rookie QB Davis Mills kept calm and distributed the football. The Texans picked up a third-and-8 with a WR Brandin Cooks reception, but he was determined to have committed pass interference. Houston settled for a K Ka’imi Fairbairn field goal, but the Seahawks roughed snapper Jon Weeks. Although the field goal was good, Houston took points off the board to keep the drive going. Cooks seemed to score a touchdown, but the booth review determined he was a yard short, but it did give Houston a first-and-goal. However, rookie TE Brevin Jordan committed illegal formation and pushed the Texans back second-and-goal from the 5-yard line. Houston can’t punch it in and have to settle for the original Fairbairn field goal anyway, this time from 21 yards out. 10-1
