Game News
On that drive, Dak Prescott reached 20,000 career passing yards in the, becoming the ninth player in NFL history to reach 20,000 yards in his first 78 games.
I agree the Chiefs have played better, but let's tap the brakes a little considering they played the Packers without Aaron Rodgers, barely won and got the Cowboys without Amari Cooper, Tyron Smith, DeMarcus Lawrence, Randy Gregory and a half without CeeDee Lamb.
CeeDee Lamb now ruled out with a concussion; Dallas on a short week after today with Thanksgiving game vs. the Raiders. twitter.com/fieldyates/sta…
Cedrick Wilson on missing Cooper and Lamb: "Whatever the coaches call, and I'm ready whenever those guys can't go. Sad to see CeeDee go down like that, and the shock with Coop, but I have to get in there for my team. Whatever they roll, I'm going in there, and I have to execute."
The Cowboys need to call the play where Trevon Diggs gets a pick-6
#Cowboys standout LT Tyron Smith, who has missed the last few games dealing with an ankle injury, is not expected to play today vs the #Chiefs, source said. This is a big-picture move, especially with the short week ahead.
Cowboys WR Michael Gallup: "Folks just have to step up. That's all on us. We have to make those plays when they come to us. We just didn't make the plays today. That's on us. "Gotta let it ride, then move on to the next."
Zack Martin: "If you would've told us that our defense held them to 19 points, we'd have felt pretty damn good about that. So we've got to do a better job."
Ezekiel Elliott: "It's definitely frustrating for us, especially the way the defense played today. We just need to go out there and make more plays."
Cowboys coach Mike McCarthy: "We're (7-3). It's a long season. We need to be better. That's our outlook."
Cowboys LT Terence Steele having a rough first half. His holding penalty wipes out a 17-yard Dalton Schultz catch on third-and-9, setting up third-and-19 instead. Dallas bailed out with automatic first down on illegal hands to face.
Second time in three games an AFC West defense has kept the Cowboys out of the end zone through three quarters. Greg Zuerlein with three FGs. Chiefs lead, 19-9 with 12:52 to play.
Kellen Moore mixing it up with Tony Pollard, who fakes reverse to Dak then bursts 31 yards upfield on Cowboys' first scoring drive (@nfl) pic.twitter.com/UW9RvPWy5x
Safety Jayron Kearse's versatility, including his experience covering tight ends, has been a major factor in the defense's improvement this season. Updates | @SleepNumber
Today's @dallascowboys captains at Kansas City: - #78 Terence Steele (offense) - #6 Donovan Wilson (defense) - #53 Francis Bernard (special teams)
Wonderful play from Donovan Wilson. You assumed that was trouble as soon as Mahomes broke contain.
Cowboys DC Dan Quinn getting in some pregame stair running at Arrowhead Stadium pic.twitter.com/s3KFDA6IsH
Cowboys WR Noah Brown unable to catch that pass, albeit on a ball slightly behind him. His second drop.
Cowboys inactives: QB Will Grier, CB Kelvin Joseph, CB Nahshon Wright, S Israel Mukuamu, OT Tyron Smith, WR Simi Fehoko. Smith will miss his third straight game with an ankle injury but there is a solid chance he plays on Thanksgiving against the Las Vegas Raiders.
In pregame warmups, Brent Urban, DeMarcus Lawrence and Neville Gallimore are getting some pass rush work in. None of these men will play today, not even active, but good signs to see them move around today. Getting close to returning for all.
if I had to guess, it's Kellen Moore not remotely trusting that his WRs can get open downfield, or that his OL can block long enough for them to do so. twitter.com/BasedDCPatriot…
Cowboys CB C.J. Goodwin needed to be penalized for something there, grabbing onto face mask like a life raft. Wow. Egregious missed call that goes in Cowboys' favor.
I have no clue what Anthony Brown is supposed to do on that snap.
We're not seeing a lot of Jerry Jones on the broadcast today …
On third-and-2, Cowboys NT Justin Hamilton jumps across neutral zone for encroachment. He's yet to follow up on strong performance at Vikings weeks ago.
My son just saw that Clyde Edwards-Helaire point and now he's addicted to drugs Set a better example @NFL
Patrick Mahomes: Micah Parsons is "a special player. To be that good of a LB and be able to play DE, there's not a lot of guys like that in this league. He has a high motor, he chased me down on that sack … The whole game, he was in there the whole time battling and battling."
S Tyrann Mathieu has been added to the injury report. He is now questionable for today's game with a knee injury.

The Kansas City Chiefs could be shorthanded at the running back position against the Dallas Cowboys in Week 11.
Shortly after the start of the game, the Chiefs ruled RB Jerick McKinnon questionable to return with a hamstring injury. McKinnon hasn’t played any snaps on offense, but he plays on the kick and punt coverage teams. It seems that he pulled up with a hamstring injury on one of those plays.
The Chiefs only have three running backs active on Sunday, with Clyde Edwards-Helaire returning to the lineup from an MCL sprain that has kept him out since Week 5. Edwards-Helaire and Darrel Williams have shared most of the repetitions in the backfield for Kansas City, but it’s unclear if Edwards-Helaire can handle a full load of work. Derrick Gore was made inactive due to the return of Edwards-Helaire
Mecole Hardman's snaps have fallen from 64% during Weeks 1-9 to 24% during the Chiefs' last two games.
There are very few things in sports I trust in sports more than Harrison Butker kicking a field goal 50 yards out or with the game on the line. Or both.
The best Week 11 player props are here and feature wide receiver Tyreek Hill going over his reception total.
Andy Reid: "Defensively, what a game. What a game. Our defense brought it every snap."
Willie Gay has an uncommon gear for a linebacker.
Elite: this Chiefs' pooch punt More elite: the punt coverage and open field athleticism from Chiefs OL Nick Allegretti on this pooch punt pic.twitter.com/vaeQIOPzw3
RB Jerick McKinnon is questionable to return with a hamstring injury
A what-if for the rest of the game: If Josh Gordon makes that reception, I think the Chiefs probably go for it on 4th-&-short.
Cowboys LT Terence Steele didn't leave his stance on Frank Clark strip sack during offense's second drive. Steele confirmed what seemed obvious on play. "Yeah, pretty much couldn't hear." Missed the snap.
There were three consecutive snaps with Willie Gay and Nick Bolton as the only two linebackers on the field, then Niemann/Sorensen on third down.
Karl Joseph called for holding. Didn't realize he was wearing No. 8 now, and when the official announced "No. 8 holding" I thought there was a phantom Melvin Ingram on the field.
Trey Smith doing his best to help the Cowboys with two penalties, leading to a second and 29 ...
The Chiefs' defense has consistently won on 1st down. That's been a huge difference-maker for Steve Spagnuolo on 3rd down.
Nice punt coverage there by Chiefs WR Daurice Fountain.
