Urban Meyer shakes his head as Jaguars go three-and-out again. Lawrence just 2/10 for 12 yards in the first half. Complete offensive failure
Carson Wentz said if expectant wife Madison goes into labor today, they decided he would still play for @Colts. Wentz won't miss next week's game, either. Madison's doctors plan to induce labor Monday when Mom & Dad expect to welcome their second healthy baby girl into the world.
Colts RB Jonathan Taylor has 100+ scrimmage yards and a rushing TD in 6 straight games. Today, he can become the 4th player in the Super Bowl era to do it in at least 7 games, joining LaDainian Tomlinson, Lydell Mitchell and Larry Johnson. He's been on fire of late.
"That is the strength of both teams." Coach Reich addresses the battle in the trenches as the Colts welcome the Jaguars and look to stack wins in November. Also the return of T.Y. Hilton, impact of Kenny Moore II in stopping the run and DeForest Buckner's status for the game.
Michael Pittman to the rescue. Impressive throw from Wentz, too.
Congrats to whoever had E.J. Speed in the "first Colt to score a touchdown" today.
"There's a lot of good teams in the AFC, but no one's taken over. So why can't it be us?" — Frank Reich From 1-4, they've climbed to 5-5. But they haven't beaten a team above .500. Up next: the Bills and Bucs. Time to see if the Colts are for real: theathletic.com/2955351/2021/1…
If Isaiah Rodgers keeps playing like this, do the Colts go back to Xavier Rhodes when he's healthy?
Good news for the Colts: DeForest Buckner is active. Notable healthy inactives: Marlon Mack and Ben Banogu
Kenny Moore gotta do 10 pushups after that drop. lol
Colts' All-Pro guard Quenton Nelson is down on the field in obvious pain. Grabbed his right ankle.
That's Dayo Odeyingbo on the strip. Kemoko Turay on the recovery. Man, if that duo can dial more of that up to close the year.
Touchdown, Colts. E.J Speed wins the scramble after Zaire Franklin's blocked punt and shows off some nice running skills to get in the end zone. Believe Speed used to be an offensive player.
First career sack for Kwity Paye. Well deserved after the near misses in recent weeks.
Rock Ya-Sin has been really good out on an island today.
Dayo Odeyingbo knocked the ball loose after initial contact from DeForest Buckner. Huge play by the rookie DL. #Colts
Treadwell erasing Darius Leonard on this run is SENDING me
Nelson walks off under his own power. Doing some drills with Danny Pinter. Looks fine. twitter.com/KBowen1070/sta…
JT for about 7; Eric Fisher holding. It's been a bad game for 79
George Odum with a nice play on 2nd down, sets up obvious passing situation on 3rd down which Jags can't handle... ...E.J. Speed scoops up the blocked punt and that's a start.
Deon Jackson came THIS close to blocking that punt.
Quenton Nelson is down after the first-down run. Chris Reed will move back to LG with Mark Glowinski coming in at RG. Been a very difficult season physically for the three-time All-Pro. #Colts
The Indianapolis Colts (5-5) survived the Jacksonville Jaguars (2-7) with a 23-17 win at Lucas Oil Stadium on Sunday.
After getting out to a big lead in the first quarter, the Colts allowed the Jaguars to chip their way back into the game throughout the second half. They got a huge, clutch play from rookie Dayo Odeyingbo to seal the win, but it was shaky toward the end.
Regardless, the Colts came away with a win before facing two of the best teams in the NFL. Here’s our instant analysis of the Week 10 win
