Game News
The Bills just became the first team to score a touchdown on four straight drives to start a game against the Patriots under Bill Belichick, per @ESPNStatsInfo.
That wasn't a flag in the corner of the end zone Kendrick Bourne was pointing at 🤣
FWIW: Patriots' kicker Nick Folk hasn't missed a field goal inside 50 yards since Week 1 of the 2020 season, a streak of 55 consecutive regular-season makes.
Safety Kyle Dugger, with a wrap on his right hand, assesses the conditions. Looks like he is primed to play tonight. pic.twitter.com/lgyodZCXOd
Looking to next season, if the Patriots can put a true No. 1 receiver with Kendrick Bourne, Jakobi Meyers and Hunter Henry, the passing attack should make some really big improvements. Mac Jones is for real, and so is the OL/RB group. The defensive fixes are more complicated.
The 2011 Patriots defense had Julian Edelman and Matthew Slater in the secondary, ranked 15th in scoring and 31st in yards, surrendered 30 total points in 2 AFC playoff games and got to the Super Bowl. The 2021 Pats ranked No. 2 in points, No. 4 in yards and did this.
What did the Bills do to catch the #Patriots off-guard? Devin McCourty: "Shit. Everything they did."
David Andrews and Devin McCourty are among the early arrivals, with a forecast of shorts and a t-shirt for Andrews when he hits the field to assess conditions. pic.twitter.com/1BE8NOVYZv
Patriots injury update: LB Ja'Whaun Bentley (arm) is questionable to return.
Micah Hyde back for the punt return. He calls for a fair catch. The #Bills get the ball back at their 19-yard line with 13:23 left in the second quarter. ... Mario Addison with the hustle play to force Damien Harris out of bounds a yard short of a first down.
Micah Hyde just made the play of the year! Thought Nelson Agholor beat the coverage and Hyde swooped in to make the pick. Spectacular.
Mac Jones had Hunter Henry wide open in the end zone. That pass was low, but Henry got his hands on it and dropped it.
Christian Barmore is active. That's crazy after he was carted off the field last weekend.
Despite getting called up from the practice squad, #Patriots WR Kristian Wilkerson is expected to be inactive for tonight's game against the #Bills. Could signal that someone on the fence injury-wise/listed as questionable is going to suit up for the Pats.
That's a brutal drop by Brandon Bolden. That would've been a 30-yard pick up. Can't have that.
Who knew New England would miss Jalen Mills this much?
Robert Kraft probably isn't thrilled that he spent all that money and his team looks like this
Mac Jones checks it down to Rhamondre Stevenson vs. what becomes a late two-high look from the Bills. Four yards. Bills can afford to play a little soft with the big lead. Should be opportunities for Patriots to make some plays underneath.
Eight coaching vacancies, but no requests submitted to interview Patriots offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels, yet. wp.me/pbBqYq-cb3p
CB De'Vante Bausby, elevated from the practice squad, on the field to start this defensive drive. He's No. 13.
Available Patriots cornerbacks tonight: J.C. Jackson Myles Bryant Joejuan Williams Justin Bethel D'Angelo Ross (up from PS) De'Vante Bausby (up from PS) Big challenge for that undermanned group vs. Buffalo's WRs.
Patriots inactives: Isaiah Wynn, Devin Asiasi, J.J. Taylor, Jarrett Stidham, Carl Davis, Chase Winovich, Kristian Wilkerson.
Joejuan Williams unable to keep pace on that route and a perfect throw by Allen who now shakes off Barmore. Allen's such a rare player - power runner with speed at quarterback and a laser arm that's becoming more accurate every year.
Practice squad call-ups D'Angelo Ross and De'Vante Bausby playing over Myles Bryant and Joejuan Williams on this drive.
Justin Bethel now in at cornerback for the Patriots.
Christian Barmore, Dont'a Hightower active for Patriots in Buffalo. wp.me/pbBqYq-cb4O
The Bills are this good. Josh Allen is this good. The Pats are getting slaughtered. It's all real. It's all happening. Just shut up and accept it. You'll feel better.
Stop everything and watch this interception by Micah Hyde. 📺: @NFLonCBS pic.twitter.com/VqkkBYIVmq

Brian Daboll on his zoom interviews with the Bears and Dolphins tomorrow: "You guys catch that game last night?" "I think we're done here." pic.twitter.com/9j8DZVnJBl
Bills' OC Brian Daboll and DC Leslie Frazier stated their cases for HC jobs today vs. the Patriots, then will do something similar Sunday with the Dolphins and Bears.

The Bills are expecting the Patriots to go heavier with man coverage tonight. They expect the double team on Stephon Diggs—with Patriots JC Jackson on the other corner, they believe there is a potential for Dawson Knox and Cole Beasley to see more targets. More on ESPN at 11am
From the looks of his Instagram story, JC Jackson looks ready for his matchup with Stefon Diggs tonight 👀 pic.twitter.com/j9LRxlXbxf
Jordan Poyer said Micah Hyde's interception might be the most unbelievable play he's ever seen.
Dion Dawkins said Devin Singletary has been bashed so much this season through struggles. Called it special how he's been able to stay locked in. Added that there's plenty of guys that can take bullets and keep coming.
Gabriel Davis beats Myles Bryant for a 19-yard touchdown. One of the Patriots' top priorities this offseason has to be to build better cornerback depth.
I don't think anyone here even saw that Tyler Bass missed that XP
How much money will the Patriots give to Isaiah McKenzie this offseason?
Double tip drill!!!! Basham, Milano and then Levi Wallace with the INT. #Bills ball at the Buffalo 42.
Marquez Stevenson, Matt Breida, Bobby Hart, Joe Giles-Harris, Eli Ankou, Efe Obada and Tommy Sweeney are inactive for the #Bills
Harrison Phillips asked about offense scoring TD on every possession and if he's ever been a part of something like that. He said that sounds like "some pop Warner stuff."
That marks the Bills first post-season INT since Taron Johnson's 101 yard INT TD return vs. BAL (1/16/21). twitter.com/BuffaloBillsPR…
Injury update: DE Mario Addison is questionable to return (shoulder).
Jerry Hughes (7.0) moved into third place on the team's all-time postseason sack list passing Darryl Talley (6.5) Jerry Hughes became the first #Bills player w/a 3-game sack streak in playoffs since Bruce Smith's five-game streak in 1993-94.
This game is so lopsided Sean McDermott is telling Jake Fromm to stay loose.
It's 9 degrees outside and Cody Ford is going through his warmup in a sleeveless tank top and shorts. He *is* wearing a winter hat, however.
Most playoff wins in Bills history 11 … Marv Levy [22 years] 3 … Sean McDermott [5 years] 2 … Lou Saban [9 years] 1 … Chuck Knox [5 years] 0 … Everyone else [21 years]
