The 2025 NFL Draft gets underway tonight, and there's several future fantasy football stars who will be taken.

Let's highlight the fantasy football players (quarterbacks, running backs, wide receivers and tight ends) who appeared in the mock draft put together by ESPN's Peter Schrager. I'll focus more on how big of fantasy assets the players could be in 2025, not necessarily focusing on that player going to a particular team in the mock draft.

Cam Ward Fantasy Outlook

Ward is the heavy favorite to go No. 1 in the 2025 NFL Draft, so he'll be joining the Tennessee Titans.

The Titans need more help all over their roster, but there's some decent pieces in place to help Ward be a good fantasy asset as a rookie. Adding Tyler Lockett on Wednesday is a nice little bonus for Ward.

He'll probably open the season as a waiver wire option, or backup fantasy QB, but he could absolutely become a weekly starter if he hits the ground running with the Titans.

Travis Hunter Fantasy Outlook

Hunter is projected to go second to the Browns in Schrager's mock draft.

He wants to play both sides of the ball in the NFL, and at least as a rookie, I'd expect whatever team drafts him to give him that opportunity. Splitting snaps on each side of the ball is likely to hold him back a bit as a fantasy wide receiver, but I'd still guess he's owned in a good amount of leagues, and could become a weekly starter depending on how involved offensively he is.

Ashton Jeanty Fantasy Outlook

Jeanty is projected to go to the Jaguars.

I think he's the most pro-ready NFL prospect, and think he could lead all rookies in fantasy scoring for 2025. He's going to be the workhorse back for whatever team takes him, and it's likely to be an offense devoid of talent, so a big workload should help Jeanty star as a fantasy player in 2025.

Tyler Warren Fantasy Outlook

Warren is projected to be drafted seventh to the Jets.

Warren should be in the running for the top rookie fantasy player in 2025, but I wouldn't love this fit for him. He'd get plenty of targets in an offense pretty devoid of talent, but with Justin Fields being his quarterback, I'd temper expectations quite a bit.

Warren's fantasy outlook could be as high as anyone else if he gets drafted into a more established offense/team.

Colston Loveland Fantasy Outlook

Loveland is projected to go 10th overall to the Colts after a trade with the Bears.

It's pretty wild to see two tight ends off the board before a true wide receiver. Loveland has the chance to shine as a rookie, regardless of where he lands.

If he does end up in Indy, he might be held back a bit by his quarterbacks, but being a checkdown option could help him rack up a ton of PPR points.

Tetairoa McMillan Fantasy Outlook

McMillan is projected to go 19th overall to the Buccaneers.

I wouldn't love that landing spot with Mike Evans, Chris Godwin and Jalen McMillan already on the team. His 2025 fantasy production might lack, but his long-term fantasy outlook would be strong because he gets to learn from some talented veterans.

McMillan could be a fantasy stud if he ends up on a team with less options in the passing game.

Emeka Egbuka Fantasy Outlook

Egbuka is projected to go 20th to the Broncos.

I'd love that landing spot, as Denver is lacking solidified pass-catching options. Egbuka should be in the running for the top rookie fantasy wideout in this class, and this landing spot could make him the favorite for that top spot, and maybe even help him outscore all other fantasy rookies.

Shedeur Sanders Fantasy Outlook

Sanders falls all the way to No. 21 in Schrager's mock draft - he ends up with the Steelers here.

The Steelers need a quarterback, so this would be a good landing spot for Sanders. There's enough talent on this offense for Sanders to put up good fantasy numbers too.

If Sanders lands here, he might be a higher projected fantasy quarterback than Ward. There's a reason Ward is going first though, and I'm still going to like Ward the most going into the 2025 season.

Matthew Golden Fantasy Outlook

Golden is projected to go 23rd to the Packers, who are hosting the draft.

Golden could star in Green Bay with no true alpha receiver on the team right now, despite a pretty deep group of pass catchers already on the roster. There's better landing spots out there, and Golden's fantasy outlook will be dictated by where exactly he lands.

Omarion Hampton Fantasy Outlook

Hampton goes 24th overall to the Vikings.

I wouldn't love this landing spot for Hampton, who I am super high on in the long run. He could learn from Aaron Jones in this scenario and be the Vikings' workhorse back in the future.

I'd personally like to see Hampton land in a place without a No. 1 established back, because then he could challenge for the most fantasy points among rookies.

Jaxson Dart Fantasy Outlook

Dart is the last offensive player in Schrager's mock, going 26th to the Giants after they trade with the Rams. Los Angeles could also pick Dart, which would vastly change Dart's fantasy outlook.

Dart probably needs to learn behind a veteran for a year or two, and he'd likely be behind Russell Wilson and Jameis Winston if he lands in New York. Learning from Matthew Stafford in LA for a year is more appealing for his long-term outlook.

I don't see Dart playing a ton in his rookie season, unless he lands with a team like Cleveland, Pittsburgh or New Orleans.
