2025 NFL Draft: Mark Morales-Smith Final Mock Draft
Mark Morales-Smith puts together his final NFL mock draft for 2025.
2025 NFL Mock Draft: Round 1
1. Tennessee Titans - QB Cam Ward, Miami
Ward is locked into the top spot. This is a no-doubt pick.
2. Cleveland Browns - Edge Abdul Carter, Penn State
The Browns have to pass on a QB because of the nightmare contract of Deshaun Watson, so they grab the best defensive player in the draft.
3. New York Giants - QB Shedeur Sanders, Colorado
The Giants aren't playing any games here. They need a QB and they're going to take one, even if this is a bit high for Sanders.
4. New England Patriots - WR/CB Travis Hunter, Colorado
Hunter is the most interesting player in this draft. It remains to be seen how he'll be used on the next level.
5. Jacksonville Jaguars - RB Ashton Jeanty, Boise State
If the Jags were willing to use a first-round pick on Travis Etienne, we're willing to say this isn't too high for Jeanty.
6. Las Vegas Raiders - WR Matthew Golden, Texas
The Raiders desperately need weapons and they go speed over size, making Golden the top wideout off the board.
7. New York Jets - OT Will Campbell, LSU
At some point, the Jets have to build an o-line. At the very least, they have to keep trying.
8. Carolina Panthers - WR Tetairoa McMillan, Arizona
The Panthers need another weapon in the passing attack. They are going to give Bryce Young every opportunity to succeed after investing the top pick in him.
9. New Orleans Saints - QB Jaxson Dart, Ole Miss
The Saints need a quarterback to stabilize that franchise. They make Dart their first first-round QB since Archie Manning.
10. Chicago Bears - OT Kelvin Banks Jr, Texas
Chicago has to protect their young quarterback and this pick will put the finishing touches on the line after doing a good job in free agency.
11. San Francisco 49ers - DT Mason Graham, Michigan
The 49ers love drafting defensive linemen early and often, and they keep with that trend here.
12. Dallas Cowboys - DT Kenneth Grant, Michigan
The Cowboys have struggled against the run for years. Grant should help with that problem.
13. Miami Dolphins - CB Will Johnson, Michigan
With Jalen Ramsey likely gone in an already thin secondary, the Dolphins get the best corner in the draft.
14. Indianapolis Colts - TE Tyler Warren, Penn State
Tight end is both a position need, and Warren is the best player available. It's an easy choice.
15. Atlanta Falcons - Edge Jalon Walker, Georgia
If the Falcons are going to take the next step, they are going to need a pass rush.
16. Arizona Cardinals - OT Armand Membout, Missouri
The Cardinals have a lot of issues, but none more glaring than their offensive line.
17. Cincinnati Bengals - Edge Mykel Williams, Georgia
The Bengals need to load on defense early because not only is their defense terrible, but their cap is a mess as well.
18. Seattle Seahawks - DT Walter Nolen, Ole Miss
Seattle needs to build the d-line back up and this is a great start.
19. Tampa Bay Buccaneers - CB Jahdae Barron, Texas
With Carlton Davis out in Tampa, the pass defense was already an issue.
20. Denver Broncos - WR Emeka Egbuka, Ohio State
Egbuka will turn a mediocre, young WR corps into a problem for defenses.
21. Pittsburgh Steelers - ILB Jihaad Campbell, Alabama
Many believe the Steelers are eyeing a QB, but they aren't taking Jalen Milroe this high. They build their team around LBs and get a great one here.
22. Los Angeles Chargers - Edge James Pearce Jr., Tennessee
Pearce is a young impact pass rusher who can replace Joey Bosa and eventually take over for Khalil Mack.
23. Green Bay Packers - Edge Mike Green Marshall
There are a few directions the Packers can go here, but a pass rusher makes the most sense.
24. Minnesota Vikings - S Malaki Starks, Georgia
Starks is a stud and fills a massive need for the Minnesota defense.
25. Houston Texans - OT Josh Simmons, Ohio State
The Texans have to go offensive line here if they don't want C.J. Stroud to regress again this year.
26. Los Angeles Rams - OL Donovan Jackson, Ohio State
The Rams have to protect an aging Matthew Stafford if they want to optimize his final years.
27. Baltimore Ravens - OL Tyler Booker, Alabama
The Ravens don't have many weaknesses, but their interior offensive line could use a boost.
28. Detroit Lions - DT Shemar Stewart, Texas A&M
The Lions continue to build in the trenches, just like you know Dan Campbell wants to.
29. Washington Commanders - CB Benjamin Morrison, Notre Dame
The Commanders need to build their defense if they want to reach the Super Bowl with their superstar QB.
30. Buffalo Bills - WR Luther Burden III, Missouri
The Bills have to take a shot on a WR. Josh Allen needs a true weapon.
31. Kansas City Chiefs - OL Grey Zabel, North Dakota State
The offensive line looked bad in the Super Bowl and got worse this offseason. They have to protect Patrick Mahomes.
32. Pittsburgh Steelers - QB Jalen Milroe, Alabama
The Steelers trade back into the first to grab Milroe and get that fifth-year option.
