NFL Power Rankings Week 15: Lions, Chiefs and Eagles Lead the Way
The latest NFL power rankings.
NFL Power Rankings: Week 15
32. Las Vegas Raiders
Last Ranking: 32
Since our last rankings, the Raiders have actually been pretty competitive despite losing two games. However, it looks like they will be forced to start Desmond Ridder this week and that keeps them in the basement.
31. New York Giants
Last Ranking: 31
The Giants are atrocious and we'd be surprised if they win another game this year. They should be locked into a top pick and will once again be trying to draft their franchise quarterback.
30. New York Jets
Last Ranking: 29
Even when the Jets are in games, they find ways to lose in excruciating fashion. This team is falling apart at the seams both on the field and in the locker room. This season was worse than any worst-case scenario we could have envisioned. We did warn you that they'd be bad, but even we expected them to be better than this.
29. Tennessee Titans
Last Ranking: 27
The Titans managed to only score six points and lose to the Jags in Week 14. They've hit a new low. They are interchangeable with three teams below them.
28. Jacksonville Jaguars
Last Ranking: 30
The Jags snuck one out against the Titans Sunday which is better than losing -at least when it comes to these rankings it is.
27. New England Patriots
Last Ranking: 28
That Pats lost a close one to the Colts prior to their bye. They are usually competitive, but not good enough to win games.
26. Chicago Bears
Last Ranking: 24
The Bears' offense has looked better since the scheme change, but this team is in a free fall. It feels like they never recovered from that Hail Mary. The silver lining is that Caleb Williams has looked competent over the past month or so.
25. Dallas Cowboys
Last Ranking: 26
The Cowboys move up one spot by default - not because they managed to beat the Giants at home.
24. Carolina Panthers
Last Ranking: 25
The Panthers may not be winning games but they are playing much better. Their last two games came down to the last play against the Chiefs and Eagles. That's a huge step for this team and Bryce Young also seems to be heading in the right direction after being labeled a bust so quickly into his young career.
23. New Orleans Saints
Last Ranking: 22
The Saints are good enough to beat the bad teams like the Giants, but the injuries have been outrageous. It looks like Derek Carr will now be out for a while, which could sink their ranking quickly.
22. Cleveland Browns
Last Ranking: 22
The Browns have plenty of flaws and have lost their last two games, but they are so much better with Jameis Winston under center and are now competitive most weeks.
21. Indianapolis Colts
Last Ranking: 23
This is exactly where the Colts belong and where we expect them to stay - better than the bad teams but worse than the good ones.
20. Atlanta Falcons
Last Ranking: 12
The Falcons are free-falling and you don't need to look any further than Kirk Cousins to see why. He hasn't thrown a TD since November 3. When do they turn to Michael Penix?
19. Arizona Cardinals
Last Ranking: 13
The Cardinals lost their last two and are beginning to see their playoff hopes slip through their fingers as they've dropped from first to third in the NFC West in the blink of an eye.
18. Cincinnati Bengals
Last Ranking: 19
The Bengals are a fantasy owner's dream. Their offense can't be stopped and their defense can't stop anybody. However, that defense continues to lose them games.
17. San Francisco 49ers
Last Ranking: 20
Because their division is so bad, the Niners still have a shot at the playoffs. However, they have a lot to overcome. A win on TNF could go a long way after they dismantled the Bears on Sunday.
16. Washington Commanders
Last Ranking: 17
The Commanders have settled right in the middle of the rankings and it's where they belong. They are a team on the rise but they're not quite there yet.
15. Houston Texans
Last Ranking: 14
The Texans had a bye week after barely beating the lowly Jags. This team has failed to live up to expectations this season and is just lucky that they play in the worst division in football.
14. Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Last Ranking: 16
Tampa has proven that they are an above-average team with an explosive offense when they are healthy. We fully expect them to win the NFC South.
13. Los Angeles Chargers
Last Ranking: 15
The Chargers are a well-coached competitive team that lacks the talent to do anything of note this season. A wild card berth would be a big win for this team, but that's their ceiling.
12. Los Angeles Rams
Last Ranking: 18
After back-to-back wins since our last rankings, including a huge win against the Bills in Week 14, the Rams now have a chance to sit atop the NFC West after this week with a big divisional matchup with the Niners on TNF looming.
11. Miami Dolphins
Last Ranking: 10
This team has a ton of issues, including a porous defense and a subpar offensive line. However, Tua Tagovailoa and his weapons have been playing out of their minds, masking a ton of their deficiencies.
10. Seattle Seahawks
Last Ranking: 11
The Seahawks have won their last two, including a huge one against the Cardinals, and currently are in first place in the NFC West.
9. Green Bay Packers
Last Ranking: 7
The Packers look like a team that will beat the teams that they should but simply aren't good enough yet to compete with the big boys.
8. Denver Broncos
Last Ranking: 8
The Broncos' defense is scary good and Bo Nix has shown massive improvement. They have a real shot at a wild card and will be competitive in almost any matchup.
7. Minnesota Vikings
Last Ranking: 9
The Vikings looked like they were falling apart a few weeks back, but have found a way to continue to win games. At 11-2, they are still in the mix for a bye in the playoffs.
6. Baltimore Ravens
Last Ranking: 5
The Ravens are a better version of the Bengals. Their offense is as scary as they come, but the defense will cost them in the end.
5. Pittsburgh Steelers
Last Ranking: 6
The Steelers are 10-3 and have a stranglehold on the AFC North right now. They aren't a fluke either. It's well deserved.
4. Buffalo Bills
Last Ranking: 4
Despite a brutal loss to the Rams on Sunday, the Bills hold their spot at No. 4.
3. Philadelphia Eagles
Last Ranking: 3
The Eagles look like serious Super Bowl contenders and have a case for being the best team in the league. They have a huge matchup against their in-state rivals, the Steelers, this week.
2. Kansas City Chiefs
Last Ranking: 2
The Chiefs are still sitting pretty for a bye in the AFC Playoffs even if it hasn't always been pretty. We aren't betting on anyone going into Arrowhead and beating Mahomes in the playoffs.
1. Detroit Lions
Last Ranking: 1
The Lions look unstoppable and have a shot to further cement their spot against the Bills in Week 15.
