2023 NFL Mock Draft 2.0: Bijan Robinson, Anthony Richardson Sneak Into Top 10!

Mark Morales-Smith Mar 10th 6:58 AM EST.

Draft season is here, and we are on to our second mock draft of the year. In this draft we will not be mocking any trades yet. This is straight forward the 31 picks as currently slated. We will begin adding trades as we get closer to the 2023 NFL Draft.

2023 NFL Mock Draft 2.0

1 Chicago Bears

DL Jalen Carter, Georgia

With no trades, Carter clings on to the top spot with the Bears sticking with Fields. However, this pick will likely be moved at some point.

2 Houston Texans

QB C.J. Stroud, Ohio State

After the combine we still feel like Stroud will be the first QB drafted this year and Houston has to go quarterback here.

3 Arizona Cardinals

Edge Will Anderson Jr. Alabama

Anderson is a stud and will help the Cardinals improve a defense that needs help off the edge.

4 Indianapolis Colts

QB Bryce Young, Alabama

Indy is another team that has to address the QB position here. Despite Young’s size he’s the best pure passer in this draft.

5 Seattle Seahawks

Edge Myles Murphy, Clemson

The Seahawks could draft one of the project QBs, but we doubt they want to immediately send the message to Geno Smith that his days could be numbered right after signing him.

6 Detroit Lions

CB Christian Gonzalez Oregon

Gonzalez has managed to climb up being the top corner in a great draft class.

7 Las Vegas Raiders

OT Paris Johnson Jr. Ohio State

Whomever the Raiders add at QB they will have to protect him. We expect them to go with a tackle.

8 Atlanta Falcons

OL O’Cyrus Torrence, Florida

All the Falcons seem to want to do is run the ball and with it looking like Desmond Ridder will be the QB next season they will likely stick with that game plan. Torrence will help build the rushing attack.

9 Carolina Panthers

QB Anthony Richardson, Florida

After his insane combine, Richardson will inevitably land in the top 10. However, we do feel like this is a mistake.

10 Philadelphia Eagles

RB Bijan Robinson, Texas

The rich get richer here. Usually, we wouldn’t like a RB this high, but he’s a game-changer for a team that doesn’t need a ton of help elsewhere.

11 Tennessee Titans

WR Quentin Johnston, TCU

We still view Johnston as the top WR in this draft and believe he fits the mold of a Titans wideout perfectly.

12 Houston Texans

DL Siaki Ika, Baylor

The Texans were atrocious against the rush last season. They desperately need to bolster their interior line. Ika will do just that at 358 pounds.

13 New York Jets

OT Peter Skoronski, Northwestern

With it looking like Aaron Rodgers will be heading to New York, they will have to do something to protect him. Their line was brutal last season.

14 New England Patriots

WR Jaxon Smith-Njigba, Ohio State

At some point the Pats have to hit on a wide receiver, right? We think they do here.

15 Green Bay Packers

Edge Tyree Wilson, Texas Tech

The Packers likely won’t be very good this season, but they still have a lot of talent on defense. The one thing they are lacking is a strong pass rush after losing multiple pieces in the last few offseasons.

16 Washington Commanders

CB Cam Smith, South Carolina

This could end up being a QB here, but we aren’t willing to move Levis this high yet. We have Washington adding a corner, which is one of their only weak spots on defense.

17 Pittsburgh Steelers

CB Joey Porter Jr. Penn State

The Steelers fans will love watching another Joey Porter on their defense for the foreseeable future.

18 Detroit Lions

DL Bryan Bresee, Clemson

The Lions are an ascending young team who could be trouble if they secure the middle of their defense.

19 Tampa Buccaneers

CB Devon Witherspoon, Illinois

The Bucs look like they will be bad this season, but we know this franchise will look to build the defense to stay competitive. They need a true shutdown corner and Witherspoon has that potential. He’d go much higher in most drafts.

20 Seattle Seahawks

WR Rashee Rice, SMU

The Seahawks are going to have to revamp their WR corps over the next few seasons and Rice could be a piece they could build around.

21 Los Angeles Chargers

LB Trenton Simpson, Clemson

Simpson is a talented kid and the best at his position in this draft. The Chargers will scoop him up and try to fix their seemingly unfixable defense.

22 Baltimore Ravens

DB Brian Branch, Alabama

After trading off Chuck Clark Branch now makes even more sense than he did during our last mock.

23 Minnesota Vikings

Edge Lukas Van Ness, Iowa

It looks like the Vikings will be even more in need of a pass rush soon so we fully expect them to address the edge.

24 Jacksonville Jaguars

OT Broderick Jones, Georgia

This is an absolute steal of a pick this late and he will help protect the Jags young franchise QB for years to come.

25 New York Giants

WR Jalin Hyatt, Tennessee

The Giants invested a lot in their offense this week, but still need to get Daniel Jones some help on the outside. Hyatt could be a fit in New York.

26 Dallas Cowboys

LB Drew Sanders, Arkansas

The Cowboys love versatile linebackers and Sanders fits that mold. We believe they are more in need on defense than offense.

27 Buffalo Bills

S Antonio Johnson, Texas A&M

It’s looking more and more each day like Jordan Poyer is done in Buffalo. Johnson is the perfect safety to take his spot.

28 Cincinnati Bengals

OT Anton Harrison, Oklahoma

With it now looking like Tee Higgins will be staying in Cincy all the Bengals have to do is protect their franchise QB better.

29 New Orleans Saints

CB Deonte Banks, Maryland

New Orleans needs help all over the place so they go with the best available player here. Banks has the potential to be a star.

30 Philadelphia Eagles

Edge Nolan Smith, Georgia

The Eagles can go in any direction here but one of their greatest strengths is the depth on their defensive front. They get that because they invest in talented young players all the time. As good as their line is they could stand to add some youth.

31 Kansas City Chiefs

WR Zay Flowers, Boston College

Flowers is a perfect fit in KC with Andy Reid and Patrick Mahomes. He will be very dangerous plugged into that offense.
