Week 11 Trending Waiver Wire Pickups & Projections:Â Christian Watson & Cole Kmet Steal The Show!
We are past the midway point of the NFL season after the Washington Commanders upset the now one-loss Philadelphia Eagles, 32-21 on Monday Night Football. Just like four teams were on bye weeks in Week 10, four teams will be sidelined in Week 11. Those teams are the Jacksonville Jaguars, Seattle Seahawks, Miami Dolphins, and Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Once again, fantasy owners will have to find replacements for several key players this week. Let’s take a closer look.

Looking At Week 11 Fantasy Football Predictive Adds:

WR Christian Watson, Green Bay Packers
With fellow rookie Romeo Doubs sidelined, Watson had a career day on Sunday in the Packers’ comeback victory over the Dallas Cowboys. The rookie hauled in four-of-eight targets for 107 receiving yards and a whopping three touchdowns! Watson has great breakaway speed yet he also isn’t afraid to be aggressive and get dirty. The combination of his size, strength, and immense skillset will make him one of Aaron Rodgers’ go-to receivers for the remainder of the season given last week’s success. I have a feeling many more backflips will be seen before the end of the season.

TE Cole Kmet, Chicago Bears
Last week, Kmet was coming off a two-touchdown performance and we touted him as the tight end to add ahead of Week 10. Well, it looks like we were right about the second-year big right end in Chicago. He has really emerged during Justin Fields’ epic run over the last few weeks. For the second game in a row, Kmet hauled in multiple scores. However, in Week 10, he produced a season-high 74 receiving yards on four receptions. Although Kmet will continue to battle for targets with Darnell Mooney and the rest of Chicago’s pass-catchers, Kmet should continue to see a significant target share. He remains Fields’ go-to option in the red zone and has a really got chance of building off his momentum heading into Week 11. Chicago faces an Atlanta Falcons secondary that has allowed the eighth-most fantasy points per game to opposing tight ends this season. Not only is Kmet streamable but he is worthy of a roster spot at this point of the season.

RB Isiah Pacheco, Kansas City Chiefs
Clyde Edwards-Helaire only played four offensive snaps in the Chiefs’ Week 10 contest so Pacheco and Jerrick McKinnon both look like speculative options on the waiver wire heading into Week 11. Although Pacheco didn’t see any targets from Patrick Mahomes in the passing game and despite losing a fumble, Andy Reid still committed to the youngster as the primary rusher in between the tackles. He turned 16 rushes into 82 yards. Not bad at all. It seems like the Chiefs are phasing CEH out of the gameplan and are beginning to utilize their rookie in several ways. Pacheco should see a larger workload as the season progresses but don’t expect a ton of receptions. He will be touchdown dependent in fantasy but definitely belongs on a roster in your league. If he’s still on your league’s waiver wire, scoop him up immediately. He could be one of those league-winning pickups I mentioned earlier.

WR Darius Slayton, New York Giants
For the second time in three weeks, Slayton scored a critical touchdown for the New York Giants. This time, it was a huge 54-yard play in which he made the defender miss and then outpaced the other defenders all the way to the pylon. He reached a top speed of 20.97 mph on his 54-yard TD reception, his fastest speed as a ball carrier in his career. The Giants defeated the Texans 24-16 on Sunday in large part due to Slayton’s heroics. The receiver finished with three receptions for 95 yards and a touchdown. Slayton now has 58+ receiving yards in four of his last five contests and he has two trips to the end zone this year. With Kenny Golladay struggling immensely, Kadarius Toney in Kansas City, and Sterling Shepard still out for the season with a torn ACL, Slayton remains one of Daniel Jones’ best targets in the passing game. He could make some noise in the fantasy postseason.
TE Foster Moreau, Las Vegas Raiders
Now that the Riaders have designated Darren Waller to Injured Reserve, Moreau had an opportunity to step up in his absence against the Colts in Jeff Saturday’s debut as a head coach in Week 10. Although the Raiders somehow found a way to lose to the Colts, Moreau had his best game of the season. Thie big tight end hauled in three-of-four targets from Derek Carr for 43 yards and a touchdown. With Waller out for the season and the Raiders season over, Vegas has good reason to see what they have in Moreau. Don’t be surprised if Vegas decides to use him a little more, especially in the red zone.
WR Donovon Peoples-Jones, Cleveland Browns
DPJ has been a staple of this article for weeks. In fact, we’ve recommended him as a wide receiver to start many weeks as well as a potential streamer. He’s still available in about 50% of fantasy football leagues but absolutely shouldn’t be and if he’s available on your waiver wire, add him immediately. Against the Dolphins in Week 10, Peoples-Jones demanded nine targets. He hauled in five receptions for 99 scoreless yards. DPJ has produced 50+ receiving yards in six consecutive contests. What’s missing is the touchdowns. Something has to give as Peoples-Jones continues to lead the team in receiving yards. This kid is electric and can absolutely ball out. I’d want him on my roster as a flex option.
RB Rachaad White, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
There appeared to be a changing of the guard in Tampa as White surpassed Leonard Fournette on the depth chart in Week 10. We won’t know if White will continue to cut into Fournette’s workload as much as he did on Sunday but it appears like the rookie is here to stay. Although White didn’t see a single target in the passing game, he turned a whopping 22 rushing attempts into 105 yards on the ground. He seemed like the superior option when it comes to running in between the tackles. If the Bucs have the lead in any game, they may try to run it down their opponents throats as they did with White at the end of their Week 10 contest in Germany. Although White and the Bucs are on a bye week in Week 11, I really like White’s potential in the weeks ahead.
