Speaking of beating the book, it’s incredibly important to Odds Shop at different sportsbooks to make sure that you are getting the best odds available. The bookmakers are so clever that one yard could make the difference between you winning and losing. It might take a little longer to do that, but it will certainly push the percentages into you favor!

Matt Ryan OVER 243.75 passing yards
Analysis: Firstly, completely disregard Ryan’s nightmare game last week against Jacksonville. Secondly, remember that the Colts always seem to play better at home than they do on the road. Most bettors will see this line and avoid it at all costs after Ryan’s horrific Week 2 performance, but that is exactly the reason that I am going back to him in Week 3. I expect Michael Pittman to return which immediately gives Ryan the go-to target he loves to throw to in big spots. Game flow wise, I can see the Colts playing catch-up in this one which should be a great place for Ryan to find garbage-time production.
Tua Tagovailoa UNDER 261.5 passing yards
Analysis: What?? After last week’s six TD gem, how can I possibly be thinking that Tua will go under in a passing yards prop? It’s simple—last week’s game script will not happen two weeks in a row and the Bills defense is head and shoulders better than the Ravens. Miami is going to need to run the ball more to keep the ball out of Josh Allen’s hands, so look for Tua to throw fewer downfield passes. In fact, I am hopeful that preseason high stakes darling RB Chase Edmonds comes to life and runs the ball convincingly against Buffalo.
Breece Hall OVER 28.5 rushing yards
Analysis: Breece Hall Roto, this year’s Fantasy child, has gotten off to a slow start, however, he had a TD last week against Cleveland and I think that he will play well against the Bengals in what I expect will be a high-scoring affair. The Bengals are 0-2 and I can see them trying to open the offense up a bit in Week 3. Hall has proven to have good hands out of the backfield, but the Bengals have only let up seven receptions to running backs thus far this season. For Hall to have a good game the Jets’ OL must open some running lanes for him. We have yet to see him break off the “big play” but something tells me that might happen this week.
Khalil Herbert OVER 21.5 rushing yards
Analysis: David Montgomery had another great week against Green Bay, a team he usually has success running the ball against. And while I was impressed with how he ran--I don’t think that he is going to be able to pull off two good games in a row. Herbert was barely used against Green Bay, so I see the Bears integrating him better into their game plan, getting him at least 10 carries. The Texans have let up 287 rushing yards in two games with opposing RBs averaging just under 5 yards per carry. If Herbert gets six carries, he should bust this over easily.
Zay Jones OVER 35.5 receiving yards
Analysis: For the past two seasons I have told everyone that Chargers CB Bryce Callahan is the top slot CB in the league. This most likely points to Callahan covering Jaguars WR Christian Kirk for most of the game. Newly acquired CB JC Jackson plays mostly on the left side which means that he will primarily be covering Marvin Jones, leaving Zay Jones locked in coverage with Asante Samuel who is the most beatable of all the members of the Chargers secondary. Zay disappointed fantasy football managers in Week 2, so expect a nice rebound in Week 3.
Tyler Boyd OVER 36.5 receiving yards
Analysis: Jets CB Michael Carter has had a better season in run coverage than he has in pass coverage, and he will be covering Bengals WR Tyler Boyd in the slot for most of the game. When the Bengals struggle Joe Burrow finds a way to get the ball to Boyd in critical situations. With Jets CB D.J. Reed playing very well right now and likely covering Ja’Marr Chase, look for Burrow to take advantage of Boyd’s better matchup and watch Boyd go over on this prop.
