Tight Ends:
Juwan Johnson, New Orleans Saints
I'm a huge fan of Johnson, and I would have taken him in more leagues; however, he doesn't qualify as a tight end in every league format. If he does qualify as a tight end in your league, pick him up as he absolutely will have a role in the Saints offense, especially in the red zone.
Pharaoh Brown, Houston Texans
I'm not a huge believer in Brown; however, there seems to be a good opportunity for him now on the Texans. Just know that not every defense will be as weak as Jacksonville's.
Pat Freiermuth, Pittsburgh Steelers
As the season wears on, watch to see him be more involved in this offense. You can already tell that Ben trusts him, and he made a pretty big play late in the game to seal the game for the Steelers.
Tyler Kroft, New York Jets
The Jets' offensive line is terrible, so he might have to block more than normal, but he still should see a high number of snaps per game.
Albert Okwuegbunam, Denver Broncos
With Jerry Jeudy out for a bit, look for Denver to use more two tight end sets. Albert “O” is a good receiver who seems to get a lot of looks in the red zone, making him a decent pickup in standard leagues.
