Waiver Wire Targets Week 8

Hello and welcome back once again! Here's hoping for a great start to week eight! I can hardly believe week eight is here! Let's get right to the potential waiver wire pickups for this week!

Over on the west coast, Jalen Richard should be the hot pick up of the week. Lynch was placed on injured reserve and won't be back until at least Christmas Eve. Richard will be splitting the load of the plays with Lynch out. He is owned in 44% of leagues and being started in 16%. Now is the time to play him.

Doug Martin is another running back on the Raiders to grab. Martin is owned in 42% and being started in 14% of leagues. Signs point to Martin carrying the bulk of the load, with Richard being the third down back. Its unclear with how the Raiders have been performing if that will stick or not. If you can grab Martin go for it!

Chris Ivory over on the Bills is worth a look at this week. He had an impressive 81 yard day and caught three passes for 25 yards against the Colts. He is owned in 16% of leagues and being started in 23%. Bye weeks are in full swing and Ivory isn't a bad guy to pick up for the week is you need someone.

Kapri Bibbs is owned in a mere 3% of leagues but might be worth a look is you need someone. He is obviously not Adrian Peterson but he managed to make some plays when he was on the field.

The last running back this week is Raheem Mostert on the 49ers. Mostert came in and had 59 yards on the day with 19 yards on four catches. Each week Mostert seems to improve on the field and his playing time seems to be trending upward. He is owned in 18% of leagues so plenty of chances to snag him.

Over at wide receiver we have Tre'Quan Smith with the Saints. Smith will be seeing the ball more often with Ginn out. Smith was involved in 52 of 71 snaps on Sunday and managed 44 yards against the Ravens. He is owned in 27% of leagues and being started in 16%.
