Waiver Wire Targets Week 6
Welcome to the week six waiver wire pickups! Week five is in the books and for those with a winning record so far, congrats! If your in need of some depth or just someone to fill in for a bye week here are some guys worth taking a look at this week.
Wide receivers are pretty slim choices this week.
Martavis Bryant on the Oakland Raiders could be good enough to fill in for someone on a bye week. Bryant had 91 yards on the day which came mostly in the fourth quarter. The Raiders are struggling finding their rhythm so far this season, but Bryant is the leader in yards for the team. He is owned in 9% of leagues and was started in 21%.
The New York Jets have receiver Robby Anderson who just had a breakout game against the Broncos on Sunday. Anderson hauled in three passes for 123 yards and two touchdowns. Both touchdowns were long balls, the first one was for 76 yards! Playing against Denver's defense and being able to light them up is no easy task! Look for Anderson's value to increase this week. He is owned in 37% of leagues and being started in 16%.
C.J. Uzomah on the Bengals is worth a look at with Eifert gone for the season. He hauled in two passes for 45 yards against the Dolphins on Sunday. He is owned in 26% of leagues and being started in 57%. He is the guy to grab if you need a tight end right now.
The Dallas Cowboys suffered a loss against the Texans on Monday, but Geoff Swaim is the silver lining for them. Swaim had a team high 55 yards on Monday night and was the best receiving player on the team. He is definitely their number one tight end and he should be picked up if possible. He is owned in 14% of leagues and being started in 57%.
Besides the running backs on the Eagles, Kyle Juszczyk on the 49ers could be someone to fill in for a bye week player. Nothing is too clear with the 49ers right now, but Juszczyk had six catches for 75 yards and rushed for twelve. He is owned in 2% of leagues, so you can grab him if you want!
