Top Draft Tools for Fantasy Football - Part 1
Hello again fantasy football fans! Right now the heat is on for draft season and you might be feeling the pressure for your upcoming draft. Hopefully this article and the draft tools listed will help alleviate some pressure you might be feeling. Drafting a well rounded team takes a lot of planning and hours of different player scenarios being played out.
Knowing what number you are in the draft is the first piece of the puzzle. With this piece of information you can start joining mock drafts on any of the major websites that support fantasy sports. If you are the type of player that doesn't want to spend the time on a mock draft there are other tools out there to make the process faster.
Right here at FantasySP we have created a new tool to help you, the Quick Mock Draft. This tool gives you a general idea of what players you can expect to pick during your draft, and along with our ADP's you can narrow down your options to a few players. Personally, having a list of possible players you can expect to grab right at your fingertips is awesome! Not having to panic pick a player because the one you wanted just got picked before you is no longer a major problem. Average draft position has always been useful when drafting over the years, and honestly without knowing where players are being taken in drafts would be a huge disadvantage.
Moving over to ESPN for the fantasy focus podcast is a terrific resource to use before your draft. The great thing about podcasts are you can listen to them when your in the car driving home from work or working out on the treadmill. This podcast features Matthew Berry, Stephania Bell and Field Yates who provide all the current injury reports, daily strategies and their opinions on what is to come. You can listen to everything they have to say either though google play or by subscribing on itunes.
Another piece of information to have at your fingertips is a consensus of ADP's gathered from sources like Yahoo, ESPN, etc. These combined ADP rankings may help you make a big decision is you are between two players.
Stay tuned for part two of the best tools to use during your fantasy football draft!
