Austin Ekeler is a solid Week 13 Waiver Pickup

Brant Tedeschi Nov 29th 11:22 AM EST.

Austin Ekeler has quietly turned in some very solid games the past few weeks and is a nice fill-in replacement for a team struggling to find a solid RB2 option.

In Ekeler's last 3 weeks he has totaled 22 carries for 97 yards rushing with 1 touchdown and 10 catches for 150 yards and 2 touchdowns. In PPR leagues, he has managed to get double digits for 3 weeks in a row with an average of 16 points.

Mevlin Gordon is still the lead back and the touches for Ekeler probably won't be much higher than around 10. Still, he makes for a great case as a RB2 on most rosters and is even more valuable in PPR formats.

Ekeler is owned in only 54% of leagues so there is a good chance he is still out there for you to pickup. Plus, their match-up is against the Cleveland Browns this week which could make for a full statsheet.
