Wendell Smallwood RB, Week 4 Waiver Target
The Philadelphia Eagles managed to squeak out a win against the New York Giants on Sunday with a final score of 27 to 24. However, the Eagles also suffered a significant injury in the backfield, which is why Smallwood will be a key piece moving forward.
Wendell Smallwood led the team in rushing yards with 71 on 12 carries. He also added one catch for 9 yards in the air.
Darren Sproles tore his ACL and broke his arm in this game and is obviously out the year. Smallwood is the guy who will try to replace Sproles and should be added in most leagues, especially for Sproles owners.
Smallwood should be both their pass catching back and split carries with LeGarrette Blount. Smallwood would be especially valuable in PPR leagues.
