Jordan Howard will play in Week 3, but we trust Cohen
Last week Howard had his arm in a sling, followed up by limited practices leading up until today. Friday is the first day he has practiced in full and will be the lead back on Sunday against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
The bad news is that we do not expect Howard to have a very productive game against the Steelers. Howard will still be leading the team in rushes, but the Bears have to remain competitive for him to have enough carries to amass fantasy points.
Otherwise, if the Bears are down then Tarik Cohen will likely out-snap Howard because he is the pass-catching running back.
Last week Cohen's 9 targets and 8 receptions for 55 yards is among the best of all running backs in the league. Only three running backs had more yards than Cohen.
