Julio Jones Ready to Play
The Atlanta Falcons are excited to start the season, and wide receiver Julio Jones can't wait to get back on the field. Jones underwent foot surgery during the offseason and is ready for some action. The wide receiver has proclaimed himself recovered and might see some playing time during Saturday night's game.
Coach Dan Quinn is open to the possibility of Jones having some reps during the third preseason game, but hasn't made anything official. The Falcons have had the luxury of letting Jones take as much time to recover as possible. Jones played through the bunion that was causing him trouble at the end of last season due to how well the team was doing.
This would be the final preseason game for Jones to play in, as the fourth game rests the main players. Jones feels great and has been participating in practice.
Julio Jones is still a top wide receiver and will be drafted in the early rounds.
