Ezekiel Elliott Draft Position
Serving a suspension in the NFL is tough for any player and Ezekiel Elliott is experiencing that right now. Elliott was served a six- game suspension for domestic violence charges from a year ago. As of now Elliott is trying to appeal the suspension, which can be a lengthy process.
What does this suspension mean for his fantasy value during the draft?
Some people are willing to draft him in early rounds with the hope that he won't miss all six games. Missing six games can really impact your fantasy team. If you are able to pick-up Darren McFadden and Elliott you might be able to have a smooth six weeks. The other problem is there is no guarantee that McFadden will carry the same workload that Elliott would. The Cowboys could decide to use all their backs, which would diminish McFadden's value. If you can build a strong team that can carry you without Elliott in your lineup, by the time he returns it could be the boost you need to make it deep into the season.
In some leagues people might let Elliott drop and take him in the later rounds. If you are lucky enough to grab him do it! There is no doubt that upon his return he will be lighting up the field.
