Jay Cutler Out To Sea
Jay Cutler is still a quarterback without a team for the 2017 season. Cutler was released by the Bears and no teams have shown interest in the one time Pro-Bowler.
Cutler has played with the Broncos who drafted him and made his way over to the Bears for the past several seasons. He has been plagued with injuries over the last three years and was never able to show his full ability. The Bears made the decision to move on from Cutler after this season ended and he once again didn't stay healthy.
It is hard to say why no teams have shown interest in Cutler. He might not have the best record but he is still a highly motivated player and a smart quarterback. Cutler has had to deal with several coaching changes year after year and quarterback coaching changes as well.
There seem to be rumblings that Cutler will retire but those rumblings aren't coming from Cutler. He is ready to play and doesn't want to be forced to retire because no teams are interested. Hopefully something pops up for Cutler soon.
