Earl Thomas Out for Rest of Season
The official word came today that Earl Thomas is out for the rest of the season. After suffering a broken leg in Sunday night's game against the Carolina Panthers, there is no way he will recover in time to play anymore this year.
Thomas has stated that he does not want to have surgery and that he would like the leg immobilized so it can heal naturally. The healing process is a long one, and Thomas has thought about retiring. He has yet to announce if he will retire, but he might just be waiting until the end of the season so he isn't a distraction to his teammates.
Thomas has started in every single game of his career until week 12 with a hamstring injury and is a five time Pro Bowler.
