RB Wendell Smallwood Week 12 waiver target
The Philadelphia Eagles running backs have been extremely unreliable to predict this whole season, and in Week 12 things just get harder for fantasy owners.
In Week 11 Wendell Smallwood took the lead with 17 total touches due to injuries to Sproles and Matthews. Smallwood ended the game with 13 attempts for 48 yards and 4 catches for 31 yards.
The injury status of Darren Sproles and Ryan Matthews are still largely unknown heading into Week 12 on Monday Night. Owners of Sproles or Matthews should pick up Smallwood to be on the safe side because it looks like Matthews has the best chance to miss the game.
Sproles suffered a fractured rib but still expects to play. His effectiveness for next week will be a huge question mark. Matthews suffered a right MCL sprain but is currently listed as day-to-day.
Smallwood is available in 92% of fantasy leagues and has had two back-to-back weeks where he put up solid numbers.
