RB Damien Williams Week 8 waiver target
The Miami Dolphins finally have their clear-cut #1 running back with Ajayi. It also appears that Damien Williams will be their #2 running back moving forward with the retirement of Foster.
Williams only had 4 attempts for 16 yards but did manage a touchdown on Sunday against the Buffalo Bills. Third string running back Drake didn't even manage to get in the boxscore.
We can make a few assumptions moving forward for the Miami Dolphins running back situation.
First, with the retirement of Arian Foster, Jay Ajayi should average around 18 to 20 touches per week as the lead back. He is a must start moving forward. It is also safe to say that Ajayi is done with his 200+ yard games this season.
Second, we have to assume that Ajayi will not be able to keep up the pace of 25+ touches every week. Either Kenyan Drake or Damien Williams will be in line for 5 to 10 touches each week.
We are putting our money on Williams at the moment and is the handcuff to Jay Ajayi. He has back-to-back games with a touchdown and is available in 99% of fantasy leagues.
