Ka'Deem Carey Week 8 waiver pickup
The Chicago Bears are a mess right now and their backfield certainly matches that theme. Surprisingly, Ka'Deem Carey out-touched Howard last Thursday against the Packers.
Today Langford has returned to practice to complicate things even more. While Carey did outperform Howard last week, we still do not think that he will take over as the lead back. If anything, we are entering a running-back-by-committee approach with three running-backs.
Week 8 is a terrible matchup for the Bears and none of their running backs should start. However the order of touches should go as follows: Gordon Howard, Ka'Deem Carey, and Jeremy Langford.
The running back situation in Chicago is very fluid and they could very well go with the hot hand approach. If you are in a deep league and desperate for a running back then picking up Carey might pan out.
Expect all three of them to struggle Monday Night against the Vikings.
