DeAndre Hopkins is not having a good season
DeAndre Hopkins was drafted as a #1 fantasy wide receiver on most teams with an ADP of 10. He has played in 6 games so far this season and has 31 catches for 354 yards and 3 touchdowns.
Compared to the same point last year, Hopkins has 21 fewer catches, 372 fewer yards, and two fewer touchdowns.
We expect this trend to continue. Brock Osweiler has simply not been good at all with 8 touchdowns and 8 interceptions. Osweiler is 18th in the league in passing yards and 13th in completions.
Hopkins is heading into Week 7 with his lowest start percentage of the season with 81%. The matchup against the Denver Broncos is not a favorable one for DeAndre or the rest of the Texan's recieving core.
Feel free to start Hopkins if you are thin at receiver, but all signs point to another subpar performance. If you have a better option this week then we suggest rolling the dice.
