Jay Cutler Doubtful for Sunday
The Chicago Bears are off to a rough start this season, and quarterback Jay Cutler is already injured. Cutler is listed as doubtful to play on Sunday night, which means Brian Hoyer will get the start.
Hoyer has started games when he was with the Texans, so he has experience on his side. The game management issues he has will take more than a week to correct. Hoyer often looks confused on the field, and scrambles just to throw the ball away.
The Bears need Jay Cutler to stay healthy for an entire season, and that has yet to happen in a very long time. The Bears biggest threat right now is Alshon Jeffrey, and without a solid quarterback he won't be able to do much. Hopefully Hoyer can get the ball to Jeffrey so the Bears have a chance.
