Aaron Rodgers Debut
The long awaited and short lived debut of Aaron Rodgers taking the field finally happened Friday night against the San Francisco 49ers.
The quarterback played for a short time but managed to throw a touchdown pass to Randall Cobb, and went six of nine for 60 yards. Rodgers is a top quarterback and even with his number one receiver Jordy Nelson on the sideline, he got his job done.
Rodgers will most likely sit out the last preseason game as he typically does. There is no need to worry about him not being ready for the start of the season. Rodgers is an elite quarterback and should be drafted no later than early in the second round.
