Le'Veon Bell Back to Work
Pittsburgh Steeler Le'Veon Bell was back on the field for the first time in ten months, and looked just fine. Bell suffered two torn ligaments in his right knee last November and missed the final ten games of the 2015 season.
Bell has a positive attitude heading into the season and looks forward to seeing his progress over the next month. Unfortunately, he will be starting the season with a three game suspension, but isn't focusing on that. His focus is on staying healthy for the entire season, and being cautious so he doesn't have a third year plagued with injury.
Bell is splitting snaps with DeAngelo Williams, but was still able to carry three times for 21 yards, and caught five passes for 37 yards. Steeler fans can rejoice now that Bell looks like himself again. Before the injury in 2015 he was leading the AFC in rushing with 556 yards.
Playing in a preseason game was very crucial for Bell. He admits that he still has some rust he needs to knock off, and that was seen in the fumble he had. Bell insists that his injury is behind him and he is ready to play. After his suspension is over he will be that much closer to having a record breaking season.
Since Bell is suspended for the first three games, he might not be a first round pick to some, but be aware upon his return he will be lighting up the field.
