Tony Romo okay after Injury Scare
The Dallas Cowboys and Tony Romo appeared to have dodged a bullet. According to reports, Romo and the Cowboys say he is doing just fine after the scary hit he took against Cliff Avril.
Romo has a long history with back problems and the way he was awkwardly hit caused fans and coaches stomachs to drop.
"Whenever you take a hit, that was a perfect timed situation," Romo said. "I was going into a slide. But in a weird way, I feel good about the fact that was probably as tough of a hit I've taken on the back as I've had in the last five years. From that regard, I feel very lucky that it can hold up and I can keep going."
According to our ADP rankings, Tony Romo is currently being drafted 103rd overall. Recent trends indicate he has fallen 9.5 spots to his current position. He is safe to draft as your starting quarterback after this injury scare.
Cowboys fans should also be pleased by recent play of backup Dak Prescott. It may be just the preseason, but having a capable backup quarterback in Dallas is a huge plus in-case Romo gets hurt.
