Josh Gordon Returns to Practice
Wide receiver Josh Gordon is back on the practice field. The Cleveland Browns have had Gordon on the roster since 2013, but he hasn't seen much time on the field. Gordon was suspended for the 2015 season due to multiple substance- abuse violations. He hasn't played a full season since he entered the league.
Josh Gordon's future looked very bright in the beginning but quickly declined. He has been suspended for a total of 29 games and only played in 19. He will start this season being suspended for the first four games. His coaches are optimistic that when it's time for him to take the field, he will be ready to go. He will be able to practice with the team until the season officially begins. Luckily Gordon isn't lacking in the talent department, so as long as he works out on his own and stays sharp he should be able to step right in.
In 2013 Gordon led the league with 1,646 receiving yards even with being suspended early in the season. There is no doubt that Gordon can unleash great numbers if he can play an entire season. The Browns are confident that he has the talent to be a top receiver in the league.
It is undecided at this point if he will play in Thursday night's game against the Atlanta Falcons.
