Baltimore Ravens RB Javorius Allen carried 22 times for 67 yards in the Week 11 game against the St. Louis Rams, stepping up once RB Justin Forsett (arm) left the game.Baltimore Ravens RB Javorius Allen will make the start in Week 12 against the Cleveland Browns Monday, Nov. 30, with RB Justin Forsett (arm) sidelined. He will face the league's worst rushing defense, as the Browns allow 138.8 yards per game with 11 runs of 20 or more yards, second-highest in the NFL.

HOUSTON (AP) - Brian Hoyer is done with the team's concussion protocol and will start for the Houston Texans on Sunday against the New Orleans Saints. Hoyer was injured early in the third quarter on Nov. 16 against the Cincinnati Bengals and sat out on Sunday against the New York ...METAIRIE, La. -- Houston Texans QB Brian Hoyer and receiver DeAndre Hopkins have both earned the attention of the New Orleans Saints. Hoyer did it up close and personal, by beating the Saints last year when he was quarterback of the Cleveland Brow

The Texans plan to have Brian Hoyer back as their starting quarterback this week, and the release of Zac Dysert from the practice squad Tuesday indicates all is well with Hoyer. Hoyer suffered a concussion Nov. 16 and missed last week’s game. That made T.J. Yates the starter against the Jets, but Hoyer cleared the…

With Devonta Freeman ruled out, Tevin Coleman is in line to head the Atlanta Falcons ' backfield Sunday against the Vikings.

Terron Ward is also on hand to serve in a complementary role, but Coleman should see the bulk of the team's carries Sunday, an assignment that boosts his Week 12 fantasy value, as he takes aim a Vikings defense that is allowing an average of 110.1 rushing yards per game to date.

Despite his second lost fumble over his last 27 carries, coach Dan Quinn expressed confidence in rookie Tevin Coleman on Monday.

Coleman could start in Week 12 versus Minnesota if Devonta Freeman (concussion) isn't cleared. "For sure, we've got great belief in him," Quinn said of Coleman. "I have all the confidence in the world in him to play, if Devonta is not ready. And then we'll kind of cross that bridge as we get to it at the end." Coleman has 231 yards on 59 carries (3.92 YPC) this season.

The Falcons are preparing to start rookie Tevin Coleman at tailback in Week 12 against the Vikings.

Devonta Freeman (concussion) didn't practice on Wednesday or Thursday and has been all but ruled out by coach Dan Quinn. Coleman struggled in relief of Freeman in last week's loss to the Colts, but he offers blazing straight-line speed and should handle a voluminous workload. You can read more about Coleman's Week 12 fantasy outlook in Evan Silva's Matchups column at the link below.

Indianapolis Colts RB Frank Gore had 34 yards rushing on 14 carries and caught five passes for 46 yards in a 24-21 loss to the Atlanta Falcons. Footballguys View: Gore was upstaged by Ahmad Bradshaw in the red zone and didn't find much room against the Falcons. He could be moving into more of a committee with Bradshaw, which moves him down the RB2 ranks heading into a matchup with Tampa.

Ahmad Bradshaw underwent an X-ray on his injured wrist after Sunday's game against the Buccaneers, and while it showed no fractures, the area is very swollen, according to ESPN's Josina Anderson.

Bradshaw was knocked out of the game due to the ailment, finishing with four carries for six yards and three catches on four targets for 20 receiving yards. The Indianapolis Colts ' rushing game was shut down by the Bucs, as starter Frank Gore could only get 24 yards on 19 carries. If Bradshaw has to miss any time, Dan Herron will likely take over the backup role.

Indianapolis Colts RB Ahmad Bradshaw (wrist) left the Week 12 game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers due to a right wrist injury. He said Sunday, Nov. 29, that preliminary X-rays were negative and he is dealing with swelling.

SAN DIEGO - For the second time this season the Kansas City Chiefs were forced to plug in a new running back after the previous one was injured. For the second time, the Chiefs hardly suffered for the change. Spencer Ware stepped in for the injureSpencer Ware rushed 11 times for 96 yards and two touchdowns and caught his only target for five yards in the Chiefs' Week 11 win over the Chargers.

Charcandrick West left with a hamstring injury early in the third quarter, opening the door for Ware to see his first extended action of the season. He didn’t disappoint. Ware’s garbage time escapades included a pair of goal-line touchdowns and a magnificent 52-yard run. The severity of West’s injury remains unclear but if he has to miss time, Ware would probably flirt with RB2 status. Either way, he’ll be a popular pickup on waivers this week.

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports Spencer Ware will start Sunday against the Bills.

According to Rapoport, Charcandrick West (hamstring, questionable) is a "long-shot" to play, though he's still pushing to get on the field. Knile Davis will be active Sunday after being a healthy scratch the last two games. Ware was dominant in the second half of last week's win over San Diego and the Chiefs might look to run more than usual with rain in the forecast. He's a solid RB2.

Philadelphia Eagles TE Brent Celek had seven catches for 79 yards in a 45-17 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 11. Footballguys View: Zach Ertz left with a concussion on a scary head-first landing, so Celek could get the majority of tight end targets and be useful against Detroit on Thanksgiving.Brent Celek secured 7-of-10 targets for 79 yards in the Eagles' Week 11 loss to the Buccaneers.

Celek has now turned in back-to-back stat lines of 4-134 and 7-79, and he could continue to see an expanded role in the passing game if Zach Ertz (concussion) doesn't receive medical clearance ahead of Thanksgiving Thursday.

Brent Celek made two catches (on four targets) for 10 yards and a touchdown during Thursday's blowout loss in Detroit.

Celek was relatively quiet this season until Sam Bradford suffered a concussion and AC joint sprain in Week 10, which forced Mark Sanchez into action. Including Thursday's outing, Celek resumed his connection with Sanchez, racking up 13 catches (on 18 targets) for 223 yards and one touchdown over the past three games. With Bradford expected to return in Week 13 and Zach Ertz embroiled in the concussion protocol, the duo could be active in the Philadelphia Eagles ' next contest on Dec. 6 at New England. If that comes to pass, Celek would almost assuredly revert to the periphery of the passing attack.

GLENDALE, Ariz. -- When Arizona Cardinals rookie wide receiver J.J. Nelson got to work last Monday, wide receivers coach Darryl Drake told him Michael Floyd wasn't likely to play and that he would be filling Floyd's role. "In my mind I'm thinkingJ.J. Nelson caught 4-of-6 targets for 142 yards and a touchdown in Sunday night's Week 11 win over the Bengals.

Nelson saw an expanded role with Michael Floyd sidelined. He played a season-high 38 snaps, behind only Larry Fitzgerald and John Brown. Nelson got open deep for a 64-yard touchdown over Dre Kirkpatrick in the third quarter. Despite the big game, Nelson should be a situational deep threat when Floyd returns.

Arizona's J.J. Nelson had big shoes to fill when he stepped into the line-up for the injured Michael Floyd against Cincinnati on Sunday but the rookie receiver took the task in his stride, hauling in four catches for 142 yards and a touchdown. Nelson has been used sparingly by the Cardinals this season, but with Floyd sidelined due to a hamstring problem the speedy first-year player grabbed his chance to shine with both hands in Arizona's 34-31 win. "I rose to the occasion," Nelson said.

Terrance Williams caught 4-of-4 targets for 79 yards and a touchdown in Dallas' Week 11 win over the Dolphins.

With Tony Romo back in action, Williams had his best game since Romo's last start in Week 2. The highlight was a 31-yard score where Williams embarrassed CB Jamar Taylor. T-Will clearly has more upside when Romo is in the lineup, but the same zero-catch downside. He'll be a boom-or-bust WR4 against the Panthers' elite defense on Thanksgiving.Terrance Williams caught 4-of-7 passes for 39 yards in the Cowboys' Week 12 loss to the Panthers.

Williams has now been held under 50 receiving yards in seven of Dallas' last nine games. With Matt Cassel taking back over as the Cowboys' quarterback following Tony Romo's latest injury, Williams should stay plastered to the waiver wire in fantasy leagues of all sizes.

Terrance Williams caught four passes on six targets for 38 yards in Thursday's loss to the Panthers.

While the poor performance was bad enough, Williams' value going forward takes a further hit due to Tony Romo re-injuring his clavicle and potentially being lost for the season. The third-year receiver had little success while Matt Cassel was under center while Romo was initially on IR, and if the veteran QB takes over again Williams could be in for a quiet finish to a disappointing year.

After three weeks, Vincent Jackson is back. Jackson, the Buccaneers’ receiver who has been battling a knee injury, is expected to play today, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports. Jackson is officially listed as questionable. Despite missing three games, Jackson is still second on the Buccaneers with 319 receiving yards. Having him back, along with Mike…Vincent Jackson is officially active for Week 11 against the Eagles.

He should be in line for 6-8 targets in what projects as an up-tempo game, immediately putting V-Jax back on the WR3 map as a fantasy play. The Bucs' Week 11 inactives are TE Austin Seferian-Jenkins, WR Donteea Dye, QB Ryan Griffin, S Kimario McFadden, OG Ali Marpet, DE Jason Shirley, and DE George Johnson.

Vincent Jackson was in on 61 snaps in the Week 11 victory over the Eagles, Greg Auman of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

The Bucs wasted no time getting Jackson heavily involved in his return from a knee injury. The veteran receiver looked receptive and prepared for the workload thrust upon him, tallying his second-highest reception, yardage, and target totals on the year. Jackson appeared to emerge from the game no worse for wear, and should therefore receive another full complement of playing time in Week 12 versus the Colts.

Maybe if the Cowboys sign enough Seattle tailback rejects, they’ll find someone who can stick around. Christine Michael, a failed second-round Seahawks draft pick, didn’t last long in Dallas. Now, Robert Turbin — a failed fourth-rounder — gets a shot. The Cowboys claim he’s doing well. “He has made a great impression,” offensive coordinator Scott…If Shaun Alexander’s phone rings today and it’s a 972 area code, he might want to pick it up. The Cowboys continue to draw from the Seattle discard pile, signing running back Robert Turbin, according to Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network. Turbin had to do a stint in Cleveland before getting his chance to replace…

Robert Turbin became the latest to join an ever-growing list of running backs the Cowboys have brought in this season, and he gives them a more veteran backup in the mix.
