Top Fantasy Football Waiver Pickups for the Week of Nov 23rd

Nov 23rd 10:00 AM EST.

These are the top 10 waiver wire trends for the week of November 23rd. This week includes Crockett Gillmore, Zach Miller, Doug Baldwin, Matthew Stafford, Chiefs DST, Tony Romo, Michael Floyd, Matt Bryant, Titans DST, Brock Osweiler. These Waiver Alerts have already gone out to our members over the past past week as soon as we spotted them.

As always, if you want customized waiver alerts, weekly projections, and more then head over to the Fantasy Assistant. It's free to try and totally customizable to your league.

Rookie tight end Maxx Williams caught his first career touchdown Sunday during a game in which all three of the Ravens’ tight ends started and were featured throughout the day on offense.

Williams and second-year tight end Crockett Gillmore had four catches and a touchdown apiece, and combined..Ravens used multiple tight ends on 36 percent of their offensive snaps Week 10 against the Jaguars.

"You look at what we did out of those personnels this weekend, we had a lot of completions and did some really good things," Joe Flacco said. "It's definitely something we're going to try and expand a little bit, maybe use more of them in the future." The tight end group was the most efficient on the field Sunday, with Crockett Gillmore and Maxx Williams converting all four of their targets and finding the end zone and Nick Boyle hauling in all three of his looks. With the wide receiver corps thin to begin with and decimated by injuries, the Ravens should lean on the tight ends in the passing game more down the stretch. Gillmore is already a weekly streaming consideration, and Williams has the receiving upside to be a factor if given the opportunity.

Crockett Gillmore caught 4-of-4 targets for 42 yards and one touchdown in the Ravens' Week 10 loss to the Jaguars.

By the time you get to Week 11, the pickings are slim. If injuries and poor performers have left holes in your roster, shore up your lineup with one of the few gems that are left on the waiver wire.

1. Zach Miller, TE, Bears

Miller's body has robbed him of all or parts of several seasons, but he's...

You probably already know this if you've checked your fantasy scores, but the NFL recorded a record number of 75-plus-yard touchdowns on Sunday—six, to be exact. (Hopefully some were for your team and none for your opponent's.) Big plays are dramatic, big plays ignite or deflate the crowd, big plays get the highlight commentators whooping ... but why did we see so many all at once?

The New York Times ran down the list of big plays:

• An 85-yarder by Chicago's Zach Miller against St. Louis

Bears TE Zach Miller caught 5-of-5 targets for 107 yards and two touchdowns in the Week 10 win over the Rams.

The Bears' No. 2 tight end, Miller has now scored three touchdowns the past two weeks. He's always been athletically-gifted, but injuries have marred his seven-year career. Miller's 87-yard catch-and-run score kicked off the scoring for the Bears, and he later caught a wide-open two-yard touchdown in the second quarter. On the long touchdown, Miller caught the ball at the line and showed off his speed, beating everyone upfield. He's not worth a waiver-wire pickup.

Seattle Seahawks receiver Doug Baldwin said this week that offensive coordinator Darrell Bevell is the last of the team's offensive issues.Seahawks offensive coordinator Darrell Bevell recently directed criticism of the team’s offensive performance to quarterback Russell Wilson. And it sounds like one of Wilson’s teammates agrees with Bevell. Receiver Doug Baldwin said Wednesday that Bevell shouldn’t be criticized for the performance of the offense. “There’s plays all over the field to get to, but we…

Seattle Seahawks WR Doug Baldwin hauled in seven receptions for 134 yards and a touchdown in the Week 10 game against the Arizona Cardinals. He was targeted 10 times.

Lions president Rod Wood said he does not believe the team needs a complete rebuild.

"We're not as far away as I think people might fear," Wood said. "We were 11-5 last year (and) in the playoffs. Obviously we got off to a very disappointing start this year. There's a few holes that I think we have to fill, but it's not a rebuild. And I think that we can do that hopefully very quickly." The organization can view the poor start at just a case of bad luck if they like, but the reality is this is a team with huge cap numbers attached to underperforming players and a concerning lack of talent in key areas on both sides of the ball. Detroit needs to rebuild, but these comments at least suggest Matthew Stafford will stick around after this season. One does not trade a "franchise" quarterback when one has a "contending" team.ALLEN PARK -- Matthew Stafford engineered what proved to be a game-winning touchdown drive in the closing minutes against the Green Bay Packers last week. But make no mistake, the Detroit Lions won that game because they figured out how...

ALLEN PARK, Mich. -- A week after passing Archie Manning, Detroit Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford could take a big leap up the career passing yards list Sunday against Oakland. Stafford, who has thrown for 24,039 yards, is No. 76 all-time. B

Dallas Cowboys QB Tony Romo (clavicle) went through his normal walkthrough Wednesday, Nov. 18, but did not practice. He's expected to be a full-go Thursday, Nov. 19.IRVING, Texas -- When Tony Romo came back from two back surgeries in 2014 to play last season, he had to go through a learning curve of sorts on how his body would react. Having missed the past eight weeks because of a broken left collarbone, the

The most intriguing matchup of Week 11 is between two also-rans, the Cowboys and the Dolphins, which features the return of quarterback Tony Romo.

ESPN's Adam Schefter is hearing Michael Floyd (hamstring) will be limited "at best" if he plays Sunday against the Bengals.

Floyd didn't practice all week. He'll likely be a decoy if he plays at all on Sunday. Considering the Cardinals don't kick off until 8:30 PM ET, fantasy owners would be wise to look at other options. According to Schefter, John Brown (hamstring) should be ready to go.Michael Floyd (hamstring) is not practicing Wednesday.

TEMPE, Ariz. -- Even though Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Michael Floyd hasn't practiced all week because of a hamstring injury, there's still a chance he'll play Sunday night against the Cincinnati Bengals. Floyd, who was listed as questionable

As the playoffs come into view, the last few games of the fantasy regular season are crucial. Can you trust Brock Osweiler in his first NFL start? The Bears host the Broncos on Sunday, minus an injured Peyton Manning, and then five days later venture to Lambeau Field on Thanksgiving to face the rival Packers, the day the cheeseheads will add Brett Favre to the stadium's Ring of Honor. Even though Favre has retired and Brock Osweiler will...

Quarterback Brock Osweiler’s first NFL start is just a few days away and the Broncos aren’t going to spend that time tearing any pages out of their playbook. That was the word from coach Gary Kubiak Wednesday when discussing how the team would approach Sunday’s game against the Bears from an offensive perspective. While Kubiak…
