2023 March Madness: Alabama vs. San Diego State Same-Game Parlay
March Madness continues to roll on so it's time to prepare for a sweet Same Game Parlay in one of tonight's most anticipated matchups. The Alabama Crimson Tide finished the year as the top team in college basketball but will they be able to escape the San Diego Aztecs tonight?
While other top teams such as Purdue and Kansas have been eliminated, Alabama is still alive. The Crimson Tide will take on the San Diego State Aztecs in the Sweet 16. Alabama has yet to face a team seeded four or above yet. If the Crimson Tide wins tonight, Alabama will still escape a top-four seed. The winner of this game will face 6-seeded Creighton or 15-seeded Princeton.
There is no denying that Alabama has avoided a tough road to the Final Four thus far but San Diego State will be their toughest test yet. Check out this Sweet 16 Same Game Parlay between the Alabama Crimson Tide and the San Diego Aztecs.

Alabama vs. San Diego State Same-Game Parlay Picks
San Diego State +10.5 (-175)
Although I think Alabama will ultimately win this game, the Aztecs have more than enough in the tank to make this a close game. Alabama does indeed have one of the best defenses in the nation this year. The Crimson Tide have held opponents to 28.1% from three and 40.9% from inside the arc. The Aztecs aren't the most dominant offensive team. Leading scorer Matt Bradley only averaged 13 points per game during the regular season. It's evident that the Aztecs will struggle from the field. However, San Diego has some lengthy big men who could provide a ton of second-chance opportunities for the Aztecs should they crash the boards effectively. Additionally, look for the Aztecs to slow the game down and attempt to get to the foul line.
Defensively, San Diego State has held teams to just 25.3% of offensive rebounds while allowing only 28.7% of threes to fall this year. If the Aztecs show up on the defensive side of the ball, this should turn out to be a close game. That said, if you aren't comfortable with the current spread (+7.5), take the alternate line of +10.5.
Under 137.5 (-110)
Both defenses are elite which means this should be a relatively low-scoring affair. Alabama is first in the nation in defensive effective field goal percentage. The Aztecs aren't the best offense, shooting just 34% from three and 49.7% from inside the arc.
Meanwhile, Alabama is hitting 34.1% from three and 54.1% from inside the arc. The Crimson Tide will have more success inside but won't have their way on the offensive glass as much.
Smash the under on this one!
Matt Bradley Under 13.5 Points (-120)
Bradley scored just 10 points on 3-for-10 from the field against Furman. He's also hit just one or fewer threes in five of his last six games.
Bradley isn't an efficient scorer for the Aztecs. Instead, he shoots 41.1% from the field. He might be San Diego State's leading scorer, but he won't have much success against this Alabama defense, especially considering he averaged just 13 points per game against much weaker opponents during the regular season.
Bradley doesn't even get 30 minutes a night as the leading scorer for San Diego State so take the under here.
Brandon Miller Over 17.5 Points (-120)
Miller averaged 19.1 points per game this season and despite converting just 5-of-17 shots against Maryland, the sharpshooter did hit two threes and finished with 19 points. Miller has not quite recovered from his lingering groin issue, but he "should be better than he was last weekend", according to head coach Nate Oats. The 6-foot-9 freshman, who has averaged 19.1 points and 8.2 rebounds on 32.7 minutes per game this season, was limited in practice this week to ensure that he would be active for Friday's Sweet 16 showdown. In 36 games played and started this year, Miller is converting threes at a 39.5% mark, all field goals at 44.1%, and he's hitting 85.7% of his free throws. So long as he isn't rusty and is able to get to the charity stripe, Miller should have no problem scoring 18+ points in tonight's pivotal win-or-go-home matchup.
