Center Ivica Zubac is a top waiver add with good upside

Ivica Zubac just had a monster game last night against the Thunder with 26 points, 12 rebounds while shooting a ridiculous 12 of 14 from the floor in 28 minutes. Talk about efficiency.

The Lakers have major injuries and quite honestly need Zubac in a big way over the next few weeks until Lebron can get back from his groin injury. However, do not expect these killer numbers from Zubac every outing. He has been incredibly inconsistent and you should expect this to continue.

Despite Zubac's inconsistencies, the talent is there and his opportunity to log bigger minutes is right now. Plus, no other Laker's center has run away with the job. He has had stretches where he's put together back-to-back games that makes him a relevant fantasy player.

The biggest stretch happened from December 21st to the 25th when his ownership skyrocketed to 61% before plummeting back down to earth at 6% until yesterday.

At the very least, he should be stashed on your roster to see how things shake down moving forward.
