Channing Frye helps fill in for Love injury
Channing Frye will be the main guy that helps fill the void for the Cleveland Cavaliers while Kevin Love is sidelined for the next 6 to 8 weeks.
In his last two games, Frye has averaged 31.5 minutes per game, which is 4th on the team. Against the T-Wolves, Frye had season highs in points 21 and rebounds 10.
If you are looking for a forward to help you in the short term, then Frye could be your guy. However, expect him to be a little inconsistent as you may have noticed from his very next game.
In Frye's last game before all-star break, he shot 1/8 and finished with 4 points 2 assists and 8 rebounds in 30 minutes. Certainly not what fantasy fans were hoping for when they picked him up on the waiver wire.
Frye is currently available in 35% of fantasy leagues and is worth the risk if you need to fill in at the forward position.
