Joel Embiid will play Tuesday
Joel Embiid suffered an injury to his left knee after dunking and landing awkwardly. He returned to the game in the fourth but left soon after to avoid any further injury to his knee.
Embiid will not travel with the team today, but he expects to be available for Tuesday’s home match-up against the Clippers.
This is great news for Embiid owners and Sixers fans. After the game Embiid said:
"I'm fine. I'm good. The knee's fine," a smiling Embiid said following the game. "I knew it was OK. I just landed the wrong way. The front office cares about my future, so they just shut it down, but I was fine."
