Rajon Rondo unhappy, but expected to play
The Chicago Bulls signed Rajon Rondo this past off-season in hopes that he would be one of the leaders on the team. Well, it hasn't exactly gone as planned.
Rondo was benched and finally came back on the court Tuesday against the Washington Wizards. Prior to that, he had not played in a game since December 30th. The reason for his benching? "To save him from himself", according to a member of the coaching staff.
Rajon Rondo said he was told having a "negative-20" plus-minus at the half was the reason for the benching.
Rondo has had an absolutely bizarre career, reminiscent of Alex Rodriguez's major league baseball career. Fans aren't really sure what to make of Rondo and why he tends to have problems everywhere he goes.
As of right now, reports suggest that Rondo should get minutes as part of the Bulls rotation.
