Eduardo Nunez Will Start on Opening Day
With opening day fast approaching, teams are starting to lock in players on the roster.
The Boston Red Sox know that Eduardo Nunez will be starting at second base, as the ailing Dustin Pedroia is most likely headed for the disabled list. Pedroia is no stranger to being placed on the disabled list even before the season officially begins, and having had knee surgery he is still recovering.
Nunez has been a nice addition to the Red Sox, and they are happy that he is such a versatile player. He has the ability to play at any infield position and the Red Sox will capitalize on his talent. After being traded to the team in July of last season, he had a batting average of .321 with eight home runs.
Nunez will look to stay healthy this season and move past his own injury that happened last September.
