Aroldis Chapman's disappointing season continues

The Yankees and fantasy owners had high hopes for Aroldis Chapman heading into the 2017 baseball season. He was projected by many to be a top 3 closer and hasn't come close to meeting those expectations.

He has been activated from the DL over a month ago and has only managed ONE save. Yes, you read that correctly, he has more blown saves (2) since coming off the DL than actual saves.

This time last year Chapman had a 2.16 ERA and 16 saves to go along with a 0.84 WHIP. This year he has a 4.66 ERA, 8 saves, and a 1.66 WHIP. Ouch.

There is a good chance Chapman will string together a nice streak, but it's already half-way through the season. Despite his struggles, fantasy owners have no choice but to put him in their starting lineups.
