Miguel Cabrera Moves to DL
After being considered day-to-day earlier in the week, Detroit Tiger Miguel Cabrera has been put on the 10 day disabled list. The first baseman is dealing with a strained right groin.
Cabrera got off to a slow start this season but had been making a turn in the right direction. He has a batting average of .268, three home runs, and nine RBIs over the course of 16 games. In the last eight games Cabrera played in he showed signs of life and batted with an average of .429, and had three home runs. Clearly Cabrera is still a trusted player to have on your fantasy team, and he should not be dropped.
Cabrera is owned in 99% of leagues and being started in 88%, and that starting percentage was based on him being day-to-day. Owners believe in Cabrera and are willing to play him when he isn't even 100%.
